Wednesday is not our movie date day but since Hubby is at home early we spent some time watching one of my favorite movies. If you guys knew me that much, you'll know by this time that I am a KathNiel fan by heart. Actually, Hubby and I love these two so much. KathNiel is one of the most sought love teams in the Philippines. Tagged as King and Queen of Hearts, their love team is consist of Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo, respectively.
We watched one of their box office movie entitled She's Dating The Gangster. SDTG is the movie adaptation of the book with the same title written by Bianca Bernardino. To give you an idea, the story revolves around the lead stars Athena (Bernardo), when she was forced to pretend as Kenji's girlfriend (Padilla) to make Kenji's ex-girlfriend jealous. Hoping in that way they will still be together again. Their pretend relationship will eventually turn into something real. But in this movie, they didn't end up with each other. Will they still have a happy ending? I love the twist they made in this movie adaptation. If you have read the story of this on Wattpad, you'll understand what I was saying.
I remember feeling a lot of emotions the first time I read this story. I admired how Bernardino gave justice to all of the characters, their struggles and happiness, the plot of the story and the ending. But I admired most how Direk Cathy Garcia Molina made revisions to this movie adaptation. Kudos, Direk! It reminded me how blissful and painful it was when falling in love.

Timing is everything. In any relationship, event or just anything, timing really matters. For great things happen in His time. This movie adaptation made it clear that love is not enough. That there is more powerful than love, and that is time.

Love means sacrifice. You give love and it is normal to expect some love in return. But if that person is not happy anymore, the best thing to do is to let go and be happy even if you are not together anymore.
Love is a wonderful feeling. It brings the best version of ourselves. It makes us appreciate even the littlest things in life. It helps us see the goodness in everyone. It also teaches us to value other people. But love is not love without pain. For some reason, we all experience this kind of pain. We all have been through it. This pain is inevitable.
Great love is not only found in a boy-girl relationship. There is more than that, and that will come from our parents.
It is important to forgive the one who hurt you. Or ask forgiveness to the one you hurt so bad. But do not rush things. Forgiveness takes time.
Sometimes, the greatest love story comes from those people who did not end up together.
My Thoughts
It's been a tiring day for Hubby and me so spending some time watching together is a great way to end this exhausting day. If you are wondering where is Prince, he is in the middle, sitting pretty while playing with his fingers. He sometimes stands up and roam around the room but he never forgets to sit between us😅
