R-Planet Update

Looks like Captain Pig has been at it again. The next offering from R-Planet has just been announced – the R-Planet Miners Sale. With these new tools mining aether will be a lot faster. As with most things these days, my first question is always: ‘what’s the price?’ But as we know, nothing comes for free: but then again why should it. I see the cost and the price as 2 independent factors – the price would be what I had to pay, and the cost would be what I had to sacrifice. This view is not too dissimilar to what Oscar Wilde so eloquently wrote: ‘A cynic is a man who knows the price of everything, but the value of nothing’. I believe the value can be derived from the sacrifice made, or the effort extended, whereas the price is purely the arbitrary figure assigned. But anyway, I digress – back to our escapees. Although I haven’t been overly excited by R-Planet thus far, I do feel that there will be good things to come – it’s just such an interesting concept to me, that I'm still hooked even with what they have so far: there is just so much potential here that I hope they can really tap into it properly. So far, I have been staking Alien Worlds NFTs, and Koloboks NFTs – I have found these the easiest to acquire so far. My Aether mining rate is not great, but I think it may be enough for what I need.   Now for the important bit: Price Point – $25 for a pack consisting of 6 NFT mining tools. $100 for a pack consisting of 24 NFT mining tools. Sale goes live 28th February 5pm UTC, for the $25 packs, and 6pm UTC for the $100 packs. Packs are limited. There will be 1,000 $25 packs available, and 250 $100 packs available. I don’t know yet how someone can acquire these, either via direct purchase using dollars, or using WAX.   So, who is hoping to pick these up?
