You are standing on the balcony of your bedroom and looking down at the garden that is located below. You can see the swaths of pink and yellow across the garden from where you are standing, and there are spots of red roses that are just starting to come into bloom scattered along the stone path. You look at the time displayed on the vintage clock that is hanging in your room and decide that you have about an hour till you have to head upstairs to begin your classes. You rush out of your room, through the hallway, down the marble staircase, and through the side doors of the palace, which are only accessible to esteemed guests, as well as you and the rest of your immediate and extended family. The meringue (yellowish cream) colored dress that you are wearing has a silken fabric, which you lift up, and you are wearing it. On your way out, you accidentally run into a maid named Dia. You quickly apologize to her, but before you can see her reaction, you are already out the door. Dia has a surprised expression on her face and a smile on her face as she shakes her head. You have always been instructed not to apologize to the servants or thank them for their work, and some palace nobles, both young and old, have mocked you for doing so (in private, of course; no one would dare insult Her Highness in public), but you have ignored this advice and have continued to be grateful. You are greeted by the lovely fresh breeze of late spring, which brings with it all of its beauty. The fact that the sun is shining magnificently and the sky is a brilliant blue suggests that summer will arrive sooner rather than later. As you get closer to the flowers that have nectar in them, an iridescent hummingbird flits in front of you. It has blurry green wings and a tiny magenta (deep purplish pink) body. Your eyes grow wide in curiosity and wonder, and you smile at the little creature. You hold out your hand as carefully as possible, but it flits away just as quickly as it had arrived. As you watch the sparkling bird fly away into the remainder of the garden, you give a sad grin while lowering your hand to your side. Within a few more moments, your joy will be restored as the airy and sweet scent of honeysuckle and cherryblossoms will be carried your way by a breeze. You will then bound forward with a spring in your step and skip along the lovely path of the ethereal garden. Evening sarap mangarap
