Reinhard Sinaga has been called Britain's most feared rapist. He has been charged with raping 46 youths, police said, adding that the number could be as high as 100. He was sentenced to life in prison. Judges say he faces up to 30 years in prison. Because,
Sinagar is 36 years old. The child of a wealthy family in Indonesia. He came to Manchester, Britain in 2006. After completing three degrees there, he was pursuing a doctorate at Leeds University. Lived in a rented flat in the nightclub area of Manchester. In the name of helping drunken young men who came out of nightclubs, he was taken to his flat and given an odorless, colorless drug and raped by gay synagogues. When he woke up, most of them could not remember anything, but if they could, they would be completely overwhelmed with shame. In 2016, when one of his victims suddenly woke up and started beating him, the incidents of brutal and brutal crimes came to light.

During the Sinagar trial, many of the surprised, upset youths contacted the police. Almost all of them are emotionally broken. Psychologists say some of them even have suicidal tendencies. According to them, the way a person is made disabled, helpless and defeated during rape, his wounds are not like healing for the rest of his life.

Synagogue victims are educated, many are self-reliant, able to keep their identities secret and live in a well-developed society. There is no comparison between them and the helplessness and adversity of rape victims in a country like Bangladesh. What horrible and horrible, indelible consequences rape brings to their lives, we can hardly comprehend by listening to the mental state of the synagogue victims.

In Bangladesh, women victims of this crime are not only exempted from rape; The carelessness of the media leaves them with new problems, the suffering of injustice has to be endured every day, they have to suffer from various forms of social oppression for eternity. So we hear of cases of rape or sexual harassment and suicide. Those who survive, their normal beings also die. The family and relatives of the rapist have similar feelings.

Rape is a demonic type of crime. If such crimes happen one after another in the society, many of us get angry and lose our sanity. That is what has happened to many of us in the case of indiscriminate rape of children, the disabled, students, working housewives. If you open Facebook, you will see that many people are demanding the death penalty for rape. Some are again recommending various types of painful executions in detail.

These claims may be unacceptable, but they are not uncommon. Unusual demands come from members of the state legislature. It goes into a frenzy when they try to kill the suspected rapist in crossfire without trial, not the death penalty.

No matter how our legislators are elected, they have to take an oath to uphold the constitution. Extrajudicial killings, disappearances or crossfire are blatant violations of the Constitution under several articles of the Constitution (such as 26, 31, 35). Those who are demanding crossfire are inciting the violation of the constitution and committing sedition under Article 7A of the constitution.

The demand for crossfire has already been widely criticized. There is not the slightest justification for this claim. However, there is disagreement in the society as to whether rape should be punishable by death or not. The way rape is increasing in the society, it would not be right to avoid this debate.

Those who support the death penalty for rape are basically talking about the Deterrent Theory of Punishment. According to this doctrine, when the most severe punishment is given, no one commits that crime for fear. Acid-throwing crime in Bangladesh declined sharply after the death penalty was imposed and in several cases. However, we need to keep in mind that a law governing the acid trade was strictly enforced during the implementation of this law. So the crime of throwing acid just because of the death penalty has decreased, it can’t be said in a nutshell. The highest number of executions in Bangladesh is for murder. If only the death penalty could reduce crime, the number of murders would be significantly reduced in the country. But it did not happen.

There are other arguments against the death penalty. In many cases, the victim is a known person. As a result, the death penalty will increase the tendency to kill a rape victim for fear of being caught. Evidence of a punishable offense has to be much stronger, which can make the trial more difficult.

In my opinion, the biggest way to reduce the incidence of rape is to ensure its punishment. The punishment for rape is very low in Bangladesh. In some cases, such as the rape of a housewife in Subarnachar, the rapist tried to obstruct the trial by getting bail from someone from the ruling party. Be successful in many cases.

There are other problems in proving the punishment for rape. Deficiencies in the Evidence Act, weaknesses in the collection of forensic evidence, financial limitations of the plaintiff and length of trial are long standing problems. These problems can be solved if the government wants. Formation of special court for speedy trial of possible rape.
3.
In addition to the trial of rape, its prevention should also be considered. Pornography is rampant in the country due to the lack of communication technology, internet and mobile phones and the lack of regulatory systems. In addition to this, the devastating outbreak of drugs has created a horrible rape-friendly situation in this country.
