KNOW EXACTLY WHERE TO SPIT Humans tend to judge so easily. ******* On Saturday May 7th 2022, the day I was scheduled to take my CCNA exam, an incident happened which taught me a lesson to this day. This incident took place in a taxi due to the fact that I was lost in my little thoughts, thinking about how the exam would go and I snapped into the thought world. The driver, who didn't understand that I got snapped into another realm, yelled at me because I forgot to inform him of my destination, took me nearly 30km beyond the point where I wanted to alight for me to discover myself. His words to me were: "Are you crazy?" and "Don't you know that things aren't done this way?" I tried to explain myself but he told me to shut up and listen. He went on using abusive words with me and since I wasn't in a state to argue, I let it slide. Well, I went and took the exam. With fate having it to be, I passed the exam. I took the same taxi 2 days later and, as fate wanted to teach me a lesson, I took the same taxi and, oops, my mind recalled the same incident, so to be safe from harassment, I took every 10km to inform the driver of my destination, and as life wanted to play it out, the driver forgot the destination which I told him and took me 10km far from my destination. Oh, no! It was my turn to shout at him, which I really wanted to do, but a part of me stopped me, showing me reason not to shout back. That's how you felt when he shouted at you and what caused you to forget your destination. What's my point? In life, we tend to judge people without listening to their views (N/B: no excuse for engaging in evil). An incident happened on twitter in which a leaked video of a Nigerian lady sleeping with a dog (yea!, it isn't morally right), but have we tried to hear her reason, and come to think of it, how many of us would have helped her if she humbly requested our help? We (humans) judge people so easily and most of us play the saint even when we are more evil as compared to others. Hear this and hear it out. Know where you spit. Better still, stop judging others and try to lend helping hands to people who need it because that's the only way we can stop some ugly incidents from happening and not through social media ranting. #respect #human #love #inspiration
