I Need Somebody Who Can Love Me At My Worst *God am I a pencil?? Why am I so lonely?? Can't someone love me like this? Is this how my life is supposed to be?? This single life no pay at all.* Okay okay that is just me ranting. I was scrolling through Instagram before I started to write this article. I saw a couple doing some stupid love things and I was kind of irritated/jealous. Like if you are madly in love must you rub it all over our faces. It isn't fair at all and God will fight for us, the single people all over the world. Single pringle. Well I do not want to make this article all about love and romance but do I really have a choice. I have already started and I must continue. It is only normal. I do not know much about love and I am a strong advocate against love because I just believe it will end in heartbreak and premium breakfast. So one would wonder why I feel jealous whenever I see two people expressing their love to each other. Well maybe because I want something just like that and I am too stubborn to admit it. Maybe under this toughness and forming hard guy all I want is to love and be in love. Maybe because I want to experience it. The good, bad and ugly. I just want to be in a relationship to know what it feels like. I don't want my sisters to be the only women in my life. That will be extremely sad and pathetic. Maybe because I want to grow old with someone I can call my own. To spend the rest of my life with the love of my life in health and in wealth. Maybe because I believe love is a good thing that can make a person overcome any obstacles and challenges because you know that there will always be someone rooting for you and be there for you when you need them the most. When you win or when you lose they will stay by your side regardless and the person isn't your family at all. The beautiful thing about finding your better half is that you didn't grow up with them or share the same family but that the two of you came from different families and became one. Two totally different people coming together with the love you have for one another making it possible. The fact that you can build such a relationship is nothing short of amazing. The number of years it took, the learning and the re-learning, the sacrifices made just for the two of you to be together is what I can never understand. Ah! I am already getting emotional. A whole Yoruba demon. No I must look up to future. I cannot lose guard. I can't let her into my heart if not she will activate my mumu button. I must remain toxic at all cost because according to future, she belongs to the streets.

Learn Before You Earn The title of this article is more of a warning than an advise. I said so because people tend to take warnings more seriously than they do with advice. Learning is a major part of anyone's life. Like the saying goes, you only stop learning when you are dead. As long as you are alive and on the surface of this earth, you keep on learning each day for the rest of your life. Nobody is too old or too young to learn. You can only say that when you're arrogant or too proud to learn from anyone. You don't need to be within the four walls of a classroom for you to be learning. You can be on a open field and still learning. Learning is more than education and is beyond it. It requires acquiring knowledge from all facets of life. It requires discipline and for you to submit yourself to training. This means that you must be willing to learn from people younger than you because as they say age is but a number and maturity is determined by age. After all there are people younger than you who know certain things more than you. Learning will give you the ability to achieve success in what you plan to do. This is because it gives you the knowledge and an edge over others. You don't go into whatever you want to do ignorantly. This saves you from terrible consequences that can cost you more than money. If you are not careful it can cost you your life. This is why it is important to learn before venturing into any field. Don't see getting that education as a luxury. It is important for you to achieve success in that field. A lot of people have ventured into what you're planning to do and have failed woefully. It has affected their lives in ways that you cannot imagine. Do not end up like them. Learn from their mistakes and do better. Use the opportunity that you are not the first person on earth and learn from their experiences. This is why old people are greatly respected in any society. They hold a large reservoir of knowledge and experiences. Learn from them. Learning before earning is one of the best things you can do for yourself especially in this time and age where there are a lot of fraudulent people outside ready to scam you at the slightest opportunity. You need the knowledge as a guard against their evil antics. Not everyone is looking out for your well being. Some of them just want to exploit you and use your naivety to their advantage. We need to be careful. Learning is important for things like forex, crypto and affiliate marketing. You need the necessary knowledge to succeed in these fields. If you gamble you will certainly regret it in the future. Learning isn't a **LUXURY** it is a **NECESSITY**. We all need to learn in order to succeed in whatever we do. No matter what it costs you, do it. You will never regret it.

When The Chips Are Down Lately I have been down and feeling depressed. A lot of things have been on my mind recently and I don't think I can cope any longer. It's getting difficult and harder day by day to continue. The load on my shoulder is too much and I don't have the strength to carry it any longer. Times are hard and I am just trying to survive but there seems to be no hope or rest in sight. There are a lot of things on my mind and a lot of things causing my current mood but the one that is really troubling me is the dip in the value of Bitcoin and the low upvote my articles are getting. I know I wrote about this yesterday but I didn't do justice to the article. I guess one of the reasons why this is happening is because of my low engagements here on readcash. It's true, I don't read other people articles like I used to. I barely comment and upvote. I do this because I'm not feeling the vibe again. The energy to write and publish an article is no longer there. I am slowly getting bored of Readcash. Maybe like Ronaldo I need a knew challenge, like a new blogging sight or something that will take me away from this depressing mood. It is slowly killing me. The dip has affected me financially and psychologically in ways that I can only start to imagine. I didn't know it will affect me this much. I still remember when the value of BCH was around $289 and I thought things were bad and couldn't get worse. How wrong could I have been? I was given the greatest shock of my life when I woke up one morning and saw the price of BCH pegged at $178. I thought I just woke up from a nightmare little did I know that it was reality. I didn't panic at first but later on I started to when I saw no sign of improvement. The price kept oscillating at $200. Why is it that when I needed it the most it just had to dip. Why me? The current dip is really doing a number on me and affecting me in ways that in my wildest dream I couldn't believe will happen. Maybe it's because I keep checking it every minute and keep hoping that one day it will magically increase by over a 100%. I know it is just a dream but what if it could just happen, I will be the happiest man alive on that day. Who knows I might organize a giveaway. So that it's I guess. I am down because of the lack of visits from rusty and the dip in the value of BCH. My only wish right now is that rusty restores back to factory settings and starts visiting me like he used to. I don't think I can do anything about the other issue. I can only leave that to the market and the forces of demand and supply. *Or maybe I should look for a more lucrative source of income.*

@Mofif

No More Visits So recently rusty hasn't been visiting me like he used to and I am starting to wonder why. It has been going on for over a week now and even before the general dip in cryptocurrency started. His visits have gradually reduced overtime. I thought it was normal and with time everything will go back to normal but now it doesn't seem like it would. His lack of visits to my article has caused a drastic reduction in my earnings and the number of views and comments my articles get. I still remember the good old days where I was motivated to keep writing because of the positive feedbacks I was getting. I was also earning a reasonable amount then even though it wasn't much. My articles got a lot of views and exposure. It was really encouraging. Now, everything seems to be going the other way and I am starting to fall into depression, specifically readcash depression. There is a type of feeling you get when you know that you are putting the necessary effort but not getting the desired results. I take my time to think of articles that affect the society and that people can relate to no matter where they are from. My articles might not be the longest but they are rich in content. I have never plagiarized on this platform and will never. All my articles are written originally by me so I don't understand what exactly is going on. What did I do wrong? Do you know what the painful thing is? People that don't put in the exact same effort that I do, get rewarded beyond their expectations. I for one had never believe that the Random Rewarder was truly random. The robot clearly has writers that he likes and he shows it through his upvotes. I doubt if he even tips fairly. I am starting to think twice about my future here on readcash and if I should still continue after 6 months in. I know that I don't engage articles like I used to but that doesn't mean I have been completely absent. I have just reduced my presence her because I have other things I do with my life. I still write articles daily if I can and I comment on other people articles too. Everything is just somehow. I am not happy with the way my earnings and views have reduced. I would have blamed the dip but it has been happening before the dip. I thought it was normal until I saw the amount other people were earning on their articles. My situation isn't normal. I do not like this at all and I am starting to get frustrated and depressed. If this continues I might just have to give up. I have tried after all.

@Mofif

Hello Hey everyone. It's me again. I have been off read cash for a while. Two days to be precise. I had to take a break because I was slowly losing myself and I desperately need to get some rest. I have been working a lot lately and my articles weren't doing too well so I thought it was better that I take a break and come back when things are better. I hope things are better now. So during the break I took time out to get up to speed with the classes I am in. My school is still on strike so that means I have plenty of time on my hand. When the strike started I decided to go and learn some useful skills so that when I finally graduate I can use them as a side hustle to my job or if things are still as bad as they currently are I will use it as a source of living. Let's just hope and pray that things don't get that bad. During the weekend a lot of things happened in the world of politics, entertainment and football. In my country the general elections are next year February so politicians are declaring their intention to run for various offices in government. From President to governor to local government chairman. There are a lot of positions to run for. So some people decided to make a U-turn and not run for the highest sit in government again. They gave many reasons such as lack of funds, inexperience, pressure and all kinds of excuses. Slowly we are seeing the people who are truly interested in leading the country and have the means financial of doing so. Political campaigns don't come cheap. During the weekend and while I was away we also saw some entertainment news and football news. On Saturday the AMVCA was held in Lagos, Nigeria. It is an award show used to recognize the works and achievements of African films. Actors, actress, directions, producers and filmmakers are recognized and rewarded for their works and contributions to the growth of African films. It is a big event and people from all over the continent come together under one roof. As usual there were some controversies surrounding it but that is another gist for another day. Also we had some league games in Europe topflight leagues. Most leagues played their penultimate league game and it was full of drama. Some teams cemented their place in top four, some ensured their survival in the league while others were unfortunately relegated. All is not decided though as we still have one matchday left and anything could happen. That is football for you, full of drama and surprises. #104

Trends In Crypto So in the last article I talked about trends in making money using forex as a case study today I will be taking about crypto. The term **Crypto** is no longer strange in today's world and if you haven't heard the word before then you must be living under a rough or a huge mountain like Everest. It is very common now compared to ten years ago when it still sounded strange in the ears of money. Crypto started gaining steam with the creation of the first cryptocurrency coin **Bitcoin.** Bitcoin is the first of it's name and it is in a category of it's own. There is Bitcoin, Altcoin and Shitcoin. It came into limelight in 2009 and since that time it has been growing. It started slowly but over time the growth and adoption increased rapidly. It came as a shock to financial analyst and to the world at large. They never expected it. With the expansion of Bitcoin came the creation of other coins. Coins like Ethereum, Solana, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, etc. We're created and started to grow more rapidly than Bitcoin at it's early stage. Crypto became generally accepted and it was no longer a stranger in discussion. The world is advancing, technology is advancing and so we have to move with the times. Crypto became a way for people to make money from the comfort of their home. It became an avenue for investments and many people started putting their money with the expectation of getting maximum returns. It became a way if making money without actually doing any physical work. You just have to be smart and spot good investment opportunities. Which coin is going up or down? Which project is the best to invest in? Which coin is the future? Were one of the many questions investors were asking themselves before putting their money in any project. Some were lucky or should I say smart and invest in the right project reaping bountiful result while a large number of people experienced otherwise and we're victims of massive scams. Just like in life where there are people who like to use a good idea or opportunity in life for their own selfish gain so also are there people in the crypto space who scam unsuccessful investors for a living. If you don't know there are a lot of scams in the crypto world just as there are 'rug pulls' in NFT. Unfortunately it has become very common and the scammers are getting smarter by the minute but that doesn't mean that people/investors are not getting wiser. It is because of this that Centralized Cryptocurrency Exchanges have started KYC (Know Your Customer). This is to reduce the number of scams and also catch scammers. Unsurprisingly the scammers have improved on their crafts and are coming up with new ways of evading capture. There are various trends in crypto from investing in shitcoins to NFT's and trading (Spot and Futures). I will talk about them in my next article. There are numerous ways of making money in crypto and out of crypto. All you have to do is find the best investment opportunity and make sure you're not scammed. #103

It's So Cold Outside This morning around 8am it started raining heavily and it was so cold and dark. It didn't last for long but it was definitely a downpour. I started to see signs that it was going to rain about an hour before because of the cold weather and strong winds. While lying down on my bed the title for this article popped up in my head. The rain might have influenced it a bit. So I came up with the title *It's so called outside.* There is a song titled **Cold outside** by Timaya and Buju. I can say that it was both the song and the weather that influenced my decision. The song is basically talking about how hard it is to survive on the streets on your own and how nobody should stress him or bring any trouble to him. It preaches that people should stay on their lane and focus on their hustle. In the long run it is just you outside there in the world. The song is saying that nobody should be distracted from their hustle and should keep working. You shouldn't allow anyone to be a obstacle to your progress because they will not be there when you need help. The kind of cold outside that it is talking about is the lonely one. The one that says that only you can help yourself and change your life. That you need a conscious effort to become a better person. You can only do this by improving on yourself daily. Doing things that will ensure your progress in life. Perseverance, commitment, dedication and patience is needed for this to happen. There is only so much your parent and family can do for you. You are still the one that will decide if you want to be successful or not through your actions. At the end of the day it's only yourself that you got. The other kind of cold outside is for the single people. When they say it is cold outside in this kind of case it means you're single and lonely and that you're desperately looking for companionship. You do not want to be alone again. You're tired of being alone. You want a partner which could be a friend, boyfriend, girlfriend or wife/husband. You want someone that can hold you especially in this weather. That is why anytime it is raining you hear '*weather for two?*' It's a very common to say especially during the rainy season when you are lying alone on your bed with no one to cuddle with. I am sure some people are already in their feelings 😂. Don't catch any rubbish feelings na mumu dey fall in love. If you like fall in love you go chop breakfast. Our brother @Kacy01 fortunately dodged a bullet by squashing any feelings that he had. In the words of Future *'she belongs to the streets*'. To the hopeless romantics among us please do not be offended. Who cares 😂 if you like get offended I don't care. If you still believe in love I guess you've never been served breakfast but don't worry it is a national cake, you will soon receive your own share. But you know I respect you guys. You still believe in true love and that's amazing. Even with the kind of people that are left on the streets of dating you still believe. It's really amazing and it's an attribute to emulate but as per the Yoruba demon I be I can't. Hopefully you will get someone to cuddle and share some warmth with soon enough. So there are the two meanings of it's cold outside. I don't know which one you relate with but I suggest you get some warmth as soon as possible. 😉 *#102*

Trends In Making Money 1 The world keeps advancing daily and new means of making money keep popping up. Decades ago things like this were not heard of or even thought of but with the advancement in technology it gradually happened and now it has become a main stay. Things like forex, crypto, affiliate marketing, information marketing, programming and web development. These platforms have made it easier for the average person to make money from the comfort of their own. For today I will be talking about forex. Forex formally known as foreign exchange is the largest market in the world. Here people trade currencies with the aim of making massive profits and incurring as little lose as possible. It's one of the fastest ways of getting rich by taking advantage of fluctuations in the market. Just a few years ago, forex wasn't as popular as it is now in my country. Now you can see it everywhere and people keep talking about it. You can be strolling on the road and here people talking about forex. You see posters and banners of how some people got rich trading on the forex market. How they were once broke and now they are rich. What is common now is people opening and starting forex academies where they will teach the art of forex. Some charge exorbitant prices for this valuable knowledge while some are kind and teach for a small token and at times maybe for free. In this way they are giving people the knowledge and opportunity to break the poverty circle and become something or someone in life. Forex academies are now more popular than forex traders themselves. Everywhere you will see an advertisement of someone telling you they've found the secret formula for profitable forex trading and all you just need to do is to pay for their class. They could be lying, they could be telling the truth nonetheless the price will chase you away. Most of them charge fees that the average man can't afford. Middle class people are already finding it difficult just trying to survive. If you then add the burden of exorbitant fees for something that will grant them financial freedom, you are just making it harder for them to break the poverty circle. This is why I appreciate people who offer their classes at a discounted rate and still give the same quality. They are the real OGs. The best of the best, making it possible for the average man to have access to a huge money making skill. It's not easy out there you know and just like in my last article for someone to survive well in this world you must have multiple sources/streams of income. It is very important. So if you are looking for a money making skill that won't stress you too much you can try forex. You can learn and trade from the comfort of your home, no need to go to the office everyday. You even make money while you sleep and do other things. Forex is a legitimate way of making money and it's not a gambling scheme or ponzi. It is real genuine money. So why don't you learn a skill today and become better off.

@Mofif

Streams of Income For the past two days I have been talking about streams. The first one was streaming service and today's own is streams of income. But before I begin I have a question to ask, how many streams of income do you have? You can take your time to answer that question. Just think deeply. How many sources of income do you have is a question that a lot of people ask and that we also asks ourselves. This morning while I was going through my WhatsApp a particular person on my contact list was talking about having multiple streams of income and he also brought other people into the discussion. He posted their replies and opinions on his status. It was really mind boggling the way people think and see these types of issues. I will tell you briefly what transpired. So the person is an advocate for learning skills and not relying completely on your degree because it can fail you when there is no job outside. He always says that people should have more than one source of income and should always have one or two side hustles with their jobs. He organizes skill acquisition classes for people at a subsidized fee. He has helped and touched a lot of lives through this programs. He always says that people should learn money making skills especially at a young age. So a person entered his DM talking about how money isn't everything. He said that if you keep chasing money for the rest of your life, your life will lack meaning and purpose. He said some people actually want to become what they study in the University and if they get a lot of money they can get distracted or lose motivation completely. He said that money can help but can also be a big distraction. In his opinion people should focus on their studies and when they graduate they can go and learn whatever skills they want to. To him hunger gives motivation. This didn't go down well with a lot of people who saw his write up. They said that learning a skill is very important especially because of the times we currently are in. People are no longer being hired based on what's in their certificate alone. Any extra skill they have goes a long way in determining if they get a job or not. Most people said that it is good to have a side hustle because if anything happens to your job or something happens to the people you depend on, you could be in big trouble. It's a normal thing to lose your job or not get any money from home again when things are dry the thing is that if these things happen will you cope. It's easy for one to say yes but are you doing anything to make sure nothing like that happens. No one likes being broke. It is a depressing feeling but for anyone to avoid this they must have multiple streams of income. You can't just rely on one source of income alone. It is dangerous. What if something happens to you or you get fired from your job or you are not paid your salary on time, how will you and maybe your family survive. We need to think of the future always as we may not know what it has in store for us. Having multiple streams of income has never failed anyone or will fail anyone. We all need to work harder to see the future that we dream of. It will not happen overnight or at an instant but we will surely get there with hardwork and dedication. **Keep working hard so that you can at least retire early.**

@Mofif

Streaming Service In my country there is a Netflix original series that is making waves. The title of the series is *Blood sisters*. I haven't watched it but from what I heard it is about two close sisters who are there for each other. The movie is more than this and I wouldn't want to spoil it for you guys. I will recommend that you go watch it and see for yourself. The fact that I haven't watched it shows that I can withstand peer pressure. The movie is all over the internet. It's on all social media platforms, blogging sites and news outlets. If you haven't seen it you are probably one of the few people in this country who can withstand a massive amount of peer pressure. The title of the movie is on everyone's lips and people just can't stop talking about it. It is that good. Since it is a Netflix series I am not surprised at all. They produce some of the best movies ever shown on screen, keeping their viewers and subscribers glued to the screens of their TVS, tablets and phones. Their series can be 'woke' at times but they still make some good movies. Just like any other business they face stiff competition from their rivals. They are not the only company in the streaming business. We have HBO, HBOMAX, Paramount+, Disney+, Amazon prime video, Apple TV+ and Showmax just to name a few. Each of these companies try to offer something different from the others. Trying to carve out a niche for themselves in the internet streaming service. They are also competing with satellite TV providers such as DSTV, GOTV and Startimes. These companies ruled this sector years back and remained the sole providers of entertainment onto our screens. But as the world evolved and people started using their phones more than they used their television a whole new type of business emerged. The Internet streaming service. Here you can watch your favorite channels, movies, series and documentaries on the go. You don't have to carry your TV everywhere you go (I doubt anyone did that). All you need is an internet connection and you're good to go. Most of them are subscription based so you have to pay on a monthly or yearly basis. Just have internet and a paid subscription and you can be watching your favorite series like blood sisters in the comfort of your bedroom. Unfortunately this innovation spelt doom for Satellite TV providers. If people can watch tv on their phones why do they need to pay for TV on their screens. Also this streaming services provided more options and entertainment than they ever could. Movies, sports, documentary, entertainment, news, kid shows, reality tv shows and so much more. Slowly they were becoming obsolete. Some of them even tried to enter into the streaming business but they failed woefully. The cost of running these satellite TV also increased and as such they had to increase the cost of subscription which further drove people away. Slowly and surely they are running out of business. I personally don't think there is anything they can do to survive. Everything has their time and season, theirs has come and gone. People have moved on and have seen a better option. They should pack up their bags while they still can. Streaming is the new normal.

@Mofif

Cucumber Another day another article to write with nothing in my mind. I am surprised at the rate at which I am running out of ideas on what to write about. It's happening rather quickly. Hopefully I get some sort of inspiration of new ideas so that my time here wouldn't be cut short. I still have a goal to reach 100 articles here on readcash. Today's article will be on nothing in particular. I will just write about anything that comes into my mind. So the first thing that came into my mind is the current dip that is going on in the world of cryptocurrency. I am starting to get worried and frustrated. Why does it have to dip now when I need it the most. Some times I just get angry and frustrated. It is taking a toll on my mind, spirit, soul and body. I check it first thing in the morning immediately I get out of bed. It is also the last thing I check before jumping into bed. I think this is happening because I am in need of cash but I can't afford to withdraw all my BCH when the price is still low. I am waiting for the value to increase to a suitable level before I withdraw but it doesn't look like it will happen anytime soon. It's depressing. During the week the champions league semi finals took place and to say that it was dramatic will be an understatement. It was a beauty to behold and there was never a dull moment. It was an opportunity to separate the men from the boys, the pretenders from the contenders. It was a beauty to behold. The entire match just showed why football is the best sport in the world and UCL the best competition. The second leg of both semifinals took place this week on Tuesday and Wednesday. The first match on Tuesday was Liverpool FC vs Villarreal. Liverpool won the first leg by 2 goals to nil and where expected to finish up from where they started. In short another routine win for the English side but nothing like that happened. We were all surprised when Villarreal equaled the first leg deficit at the end of the first half and started to think that maybe they could mount a shocking comeback but unfortunately nothing like that happened. Liverpool came back to their senses in the second half and scored three goals to make the match end 3-2 in their favour and 5-3 on aggregate. Villarreal fans were truly heartbroken. Their hope completely dashed by the Liverpool attackers. To give them hope of qualifying to the final and then breaking it was too much to bear. They left the stadium with their heads bowed. The next match and the more entertaining one among the two was Manchester City vs Real Madrid. This match was a rollercoaster of emotions of players, fans and coaches. Manchester City won the first leg 4-3 in a thriller of a match but we all knew the tie was far from over. Everything was going to be settled at the Santiago Bernabéu. Manchester City still shocked everyone when they took the lead in the 74th minute. The match was heading towards the 90th minute and we thought all was over, they were leading by two goals and everything was done and dusted when Brazilian starlet Rodrygo scored. He then followed it up with a second in 60 seconds. The match was now 2-1 and heading towards extra time. Real Madrid got a penalty in the 96 the minute which Ballon d'or contender Karim Benzema coolly slotted in. The match ended 3-1 and 6-5 on aggregate much to the despair of city fans and English fans who want an all English final. I will drop my pen here for today before I run out of random things to write about.

@Mofif

Choosing A Leader (Continued) It has been a long time since I have a written an article like. It is actually a continuation of the article I published over a month ago. Here's the link https://read.cash/@Mofif/the-election-choosing-a-leader-adf5feff In that article I talked about the things you have to look out for before choosing anyone for a government position. I wrote about looking at the family, political and educational background. In this article I will be doing the same thing but in a different way. I will be talking about the things to watch out for. Meaning how to spot red flags exhibited by any leader or politician. If the politician has a previous record of money mismanagement or embezzlement watch out. This is what we call financial corruption. There are different types of corruption but this is the worst. Someone that cannot be trusted with money cannot be trusted with anything at all. If they have mismanaged other people's money and even government I don't think they deserve to lead anyone. A leader needs to know how to handle money and must have a certain level of financial literacy. It is very risky to trust taxes with people who lack the necessary knowledge of basic economics. If this happens the economy of that country will continue to experience a downward trend. The economy sector of a country is one of the most important ones and it is not to be toyed with. People with a past history of embezzlement have shown over time not to be good leaders. Infact when they get into office they only embezzle more funds because they are greedy and never truly satisfied. Always wanting more and more. The dangerous and concerning thing about this is that it affects everyone including businesses and families. They are stealing directly from the people and it is the same people that are feeling the effect. People especially voters should make sure that leaders like this never get elected. I will also talk about criminal history. A leader with a past history of crime especially robbery, arson and fraud should be avoided. This is a big red flag. I would have said that people who have committed crimes in the past no matter how small it may be should not be elected but I will be sounding very harsh and too strict. We shouldn't judge a changed man by his past. But still crimes such as the one I mentioned should not be overlooked if not we are in deep trouble. We don't know the kind of person he is or what he will become once he enters office. He/she might be connected to an organized crime syndicate and trying to use the government for their nefarious activities. It is too dangerous for we the citizenry to allow such to happen. We will be failing ourselves, children and the generation yet unborn. I will stop here for today but will continue in another article. There is so much to write about but I do not want to put it all in one article. Let me spread it. *Till next time guys.*

@Mofif

Taxi Drivers In My City Lately I have been on the road having to run some errands with my dad. When driving what surprises me is the way other people drive particularly the taxi drivers or as we called them in Ibadan *Micra*. They got that name from the brand of car that is commonly used by them. Infact all of them use it. It has become a kind of identity for them. A person will think twice before entering a cab that isn't Micra. They don't have the taxi sign that is normally placed on top of the car but there is a sticker that is pasted on the windshield and also a particular color that the car is painted with. All of this help in identifying taxis. Each state have their own color. For mine it is maroon and red. Back to the article. The taxi drivers in my city are crazy and I will explain why. They drive anyhow with no care at all. They drive their vehicles as if they are the only ones on the road and do not have respect for any other driver at all. It is only their fellow taxi driver that they respect and show a little sanity for. They move their vehicles with reckless abandon and are at a high risk of causing an accident or being involved in one. Most times it is fatal taking their life and that of their passenger. They barely look before entering the road or turning into a junction. It's as if they are always in a haste and have to get to their destination quickly but most times they don't have to. I think it is in their blood to behave like that. That's just their natural setting. Their blood is always hot and they can never seem to calm down. When they are now in trouble that's when you see their calm side. After hitting the vehicle of an important person or a military personnel you will see them on their knees begging for mercy since they know that they can't pay for the damages. If the car is very expensive that just makes matters worse. If the owner of the car is not kind or does not have the fear of God in him/her that taxi driver will sleep in a police cell and will remain there until he can fix the car. I used the pronoun he because all of them that drive recklessly are men. You wouldn't see a woman driving a taxi talkless of driving recklessly. I don't think they have that in their blood. Always driving with so much calm and patience, taking their time much to the annoyance of fellow drivers. I am starting to wonder why it is only men that behave like this. Is it the environment that is having an effect on them? I have had many experiences with taxi drivers in my city too numerous to mention. Most of them are not pleasant but I least I survived. I have nearly been hit by their vehicles and sometimes embarrassed by them. No manners at all. They don't care about pedestrians on the road. **When they see you crossing that's when they press the gas pedal.** It is quite unfortunate. I just think that all of them should go for a psychiatric evaluation because they are certainly not okay upstairs and that's me being kind with my use of words. The government also needs to step in and do something about this urgently because it is quickly getting out of hand. Lives and properties are lost on daily basis because of their reckless driving. People are scared of crossing the road because they are afraid that they will become another victim of a hit and run, just another statistics.

WFI Yesterday I wrote about my social media troubles. I talked about Discord, Twitter and LinkedIn. So today I will be writing about WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram but before I start I just want to ask if you guys noticed how I titled the articles by using the first later of each social media app. Ingenious right? I will start with Whatsapp. WhatsApp is the most popular of all social media app. It is virtually on every smartphone and is used by everyone who has a phone and know how to use it. It has become a necessity and a must have app for anyone in this time and age. The importance of WhatsApp cannot be overstated. It is the most common messaging app, ahead of all it's competition by a mile. No other app that over such services come close. It is used more than the normal text messages. You can use it to call, send texts, images, videos, files and even apps. It is also used to make calls both voice and video. It costs less to make this calls on the app than using your mobile service provider. There is also the WhatsApp status where your contacts can be entertained and updated on what's going on in your life. My WhatsApp is okay and I don't really have any issues with it. I can spend up to 4 hours per day on the app. The status that I view are really interesting. This is what keeps me on the app and takes most of my mobile data. I also have some contacts who's status is to entertain and I really enjoy them. I can say for a fact that WhatsApp is my favorite social media app. This is because it is the most interesting and entertaining. Then I have my Facebook account. I don't use it as much as I used too probably because now I have WhatsApp. There was a time that Facebook was the only app that I used. That was about seven years ago when I got my phone and knew little about social media. I had an active account and I was almost always online looking at one meme or reading a piece of juicy news. Now I barely open the app. I only open it if I have any new messages or I want to watch a comedy skit or a football story. One of my favorite football pages is on Facebook and their videos are the best. I get a few messages there once in a while because most of my contacts are on WhatsApp. Also the comedy pages I like are no longer there. Some of them have left, are inactive or have been hacked. Facebook feels like a ghost town these days. The reason I haven't been active is because there is nothing there that interest me and also the number of hacked accounts. Most of my friends Facebook accounts have been hacked and I am now seeing a different person's picture there as the profile picture. It's really sad what Facebook has become. Lastly Instagram. Facebook sister. The interesting thing is that all three apps are owned by the same person so I am wondering why some people were screaming as if the world was coming to an end when Elon Musk acquired Twitter. I visit Instagram once in a while especially when I feel like wasting my data. It took me a long time to realize that it burns a lot of data because of the numerous videos and pictures. It's a nice place to visit if you want good entertainment, you just have to follow the right handles. Most of the handles I follow are into comedy. I also follow a lot of people. I don't really care about the number of followers I have. I use the app to look at other people and not because I want to post my picture. Infact I only have one picture and it is that of the GOAT. I might also be using it to follow some people and check how they are doing in life. Yes I know, it is a form of stalking but most of them are my secondary school mates. I just use my Instagram to follow people and for pure entertainment. It's a good place to unwind and trust me you will definitely laugh your head off. Although I sometime wonder how I have over 100 followers. It's a mystery to me. *This dip deep gan Oh! It will soon discover crude oil.*

DTL Recently I have been having issues with my social media accounts. Not like it is anybody's business but I just thought to myself why not write an article on it. At least it is better than worrying over it and achieving nothing. This way maybe I can at least find a solution to my social media troubles. So on Sunday I wasn't feeling too well after coming back from Church. I had a terrible bout of stomach ache. It was as if my intestines were turning inside and my stomach was eating itself up. There was no way in which I positioned myself that I didn't feel the excruciating pain. Thankfully it only lasted for a few hours. To make things worse that's when my Discord account got disabled. I was wondering what was exactly going on. I didn't do anything wrong. I wasn't engaging in any illegal activity on the app. To the best of my knowledge I obeyed the rules and followed the guidelines but still my account got disabled. I was really annoyed and irritated by this but at the same not so worried. I barely use the app and the only time I open it is when I want to join a server or help a friend in an invite contest. I don't really use it and I started to wonder why did I download the app in the first place. I only use it to help people win invite contest which seems to be one of the major things going on in that app. I might have used it a few times when I first had it but since then I barely open it. Recently I have been thinking of going back to the account and bringing it back to life but since it has been disabled I don't see the need of going through all the stress of creating a new account. I guess I have to give up on it. Then I have my Twitter account. I have been on twitter since 2017 and I don't think I have up to a 50 followers. In my defense I don't go out there looking for followers and I am not that active. I only go there to view other people's tweet. I also go there to see all those amazing comebacks, the memes, savages and funny exchanges. I just go there for the violence. Truly twitter is not for the weak or innocent. Crazy people are on that app. Few weeks back I decided to build my Twitter account, edit my profile and make account more active. I started by retweeting some amazing tweets especially the hilarious ones. I also started to follow some high profile account and get some sort of recognition or attention. I will soon start posting my own tweets and make my account more active and engaging. I realized that having an active Twitter account does a lot for you and your business, in that it opens you to countless of opportunities. So here's my Twitter link https://twitter.com/MofifoluwaAjani Then I have my LinkedIn account. I opened it in my first year in University. A friend recommended the app to me. He said that is where most industry professionals are. He said that's where big corporations, organizations and important people are. He said the app connects you to high net worth individuals looking for your skill set. The app truly is everything he said. The app helps you create a profile where it shows your skills, talents, education and achievements. It is a need for anyone venturing into the corporate space. It helps you keep track of your achievements and goals. Most importantly it connects you to people, not just any kind. Individuals that are looking for someone with your particular skills and education. In short it is a job market. The most amazing thing that the app does is to connect individuals to jobs, internships, trainings and opportunities in general. I haven't been as active as I would like but I make sure to check the app once in a while and update my profile. I also look for and collect with people that I find interesting, who knows maybe they will be of help in the future. It is a professional app for serious minded individuals. Here's my LinkedIn profile link https://www.linkedin.com/in/mofifoluwa-ajani-8948ba21a

Ideas For today's article I didn't have a lot of options and I ended up choosing this one. Even though it's not much at least it is something. Hopefully in the next article I will come up with something better. Speaking of ideas has anyone had a 'Eureka' moment. What it means is that have you ever come up with an ingenious idea that was nothing short of amazing. That what's it actually means. It originated from a great scientist who said that particular word after making a great scientific discovery. I do not remember his name as of now but the word has been used similarly to the way he used it. We have all come up with ideas at some point in time but that doesn't mean those ideas were good or worth mentioning outside among great minds. I am not saying this to discredit anyone I am just saying that there are some amazing ideas out there. The fact that anyone could come up with an idea such as that speaks a lot about the person. The thoughts that go through the process of coming up with an idea is mind-blowing. So I would like for you guys to share in the comment section one or two amazing ideas you may have come up with. It could be on anything or in any sector of the economy such as education, agriculture, transportation, technology and service. Something that can revolutionized the world and make a massive impact in the lives of people around you, in your community, country and in the world at large. People who come up with ideas and think of ways to better the standard of living in the society are very important. They contribute to the country immensely. They are the think tanks like someone I know used to say. Any community wouldn't be able to function properly and optimally without them. They are that important. This is why they should be given the necessary resources and attention by the society and the government. Incentives should be provided for them so that they can start making huge contributions to their community. Quality education should be the main resource given to them because it expands their knowledge base. It grants them the needed exposure and also reduces the number of times they learn from experiences. Experience can be the best teacher but it can also be the most painful way to learn. Ideas and people that come up with them are an essential part of human existence. Most of the things we enjoy today were thought of and created by people who had ideas about how to make a change in their society. This is why all over the world they are recognized by their contributions and you can hear their name everywhere. Infact they are taught about in schools. That way people won't forget about them in years to come. Today's article was rather short but I think I tried.

Fasting Hello everyone. How are you all doing? Trust you're good. It's another weekend to relax and be taken care of. I am taking things pretty chill and in no hurry at all. I want to use this opportunity to rest and gain my strength back after all the stress of the week. I don't really have a lot of work to do and I am almost jobless but at least I can use this opportunity to write an article. So this morning while preparing breakfast which we will eat in the afternoon because of how long it takes to prepare it my dad brought a topic up for discussion. We were making *moimoi* which is also known as beans porridge. You wash the beans and then grind it with pepper and onion. Then you had salt and seasoning to taste. You can also add fish or boiled egg. After that you cook it over steam until it is fully formed. It is kinda of a ritual for us to make it everyday Saturday morning just like the way we make swallow on Sunday morning. It's a tradition. He said that in his morning devotion the pastor talked about Fasting. He said that we should not make food our lord and learn how to control our appetite. He said that your attitude towards food says a lot about you. Self control is needed and it's not everytime that you see food that you must eat. The message was pretty clear, learn self control towards food. I think the reason my dad was telling me this is because of my love for food. I am not going to lie, I love food especially one that is properly cooked. There was a time in my life that you could literally carry me away with food. It was that bad. Now I have learnt self control but that doesn't mean I still don't love food, I just learnt that it should control my every thought and action. I still eat a lot though and the reason I'm not obese is because I burn the fat off. The controversial part of the discussion though was what he said was in the devotion the following day. He said that as a man of God it is in the Bible that you eat twice a day. He gave the example of Elijah, how God fed him twice daily. He said that when he shared it in Bible Study with his pastors some of them didn't sound pleased. They thought the standard was the regular three square meal in a day with snacks in between. He told them that it is necessary to ensure that the love of food will not take over them. You eat to only strengthen yourself. Now let me ask you what do you think? Do you agree? Do you think that he is just being overzealous? Whatever your opinion may be the crux of the matter is that the love of food can lead to terrible consequences. It can lead to both health and spiritual problems. I wouldn't go deep into them but it is necessary that in everything we do we exercise control and practice contentment. That's my two cents for today. I am you are enjoying your Saturday and resting. Stay cool everyone.

Avocado It is that time of the week where I don't have anything in particular to write about so I do a review of the past week articles. Since it is a review the article might not be so long. I will say one or two things about the articles I wrote in the past week and also give a general review of the comments, views and the general reaction. Every Friday calls for a time to relax and look at what you've achieve during the week starting from Sunday. So I will do just that today and see where that takes us. So I started this week with my hit piece *Male and Female Bestie*. To say that I put my heart out in this article will be an understatement. This article stood out for all the right reasons. First of all it was the article with the highest number of views and comments. It got a lot of attention and reaction. People had different views to the issue and they didn't hesitate to express their opinions. I personally took my time to reply the comments one by one. The topic was a little bit controversial but I think I was able to express my opinion well and explain my decision which is male and female besties do not really exists. As expected not everyone agreed with my point of view and I can say I gained a lot from them but I think I will still stick to what I said. This is my favorite article for the week and I must say that I really enjoyed writing it. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the article. The following day I wrote *Investment TV Show.* I think I wrote it on a Saturday. Everything that happened that day was aimed at me not writing any article. I was extremely busy after coming back from Church and my mobile data just had to finish on that day. I think the universe didn't want me to publish any article. Nonetheless I made sure I at least wrote down something on my notepad and that same night using night plan I published the article very late into the late. I think because I rushed it that's why it had little engagements but at least I tried. It's not easy writing everyday especially under pressure. Then I wrote *To Have Faith* and *Boredom*. When I wrote these articles I wasn't active on Readcash. I remember not having any idea on what to write in the later article so I just talked about the random things in my head. What struck me though was my knowledge on typewriter. I guess that's what saved me that day. I also talked a little bit about football and that was all.For the first article it was just an inspiration. We've been talking about faith lately in my family bible study so I decided to write a short article on it. After that I wrote about *86FB*. This is my second biggest article of the week. It had the highest number of earnings and a lot of views and comments because it was very relatable especially to Nigerians. It was generally about a ponzi scheme that collapsed on that same day and the number of people it affected. Ponzi's are very common in Nigeria and it turns out that Nigerians can also get scammed too. I followed it up with Self Development because the lack of it is what makes people fall for this scams. People need to work on themselves and their crafts if they want to become anything in life. My last article was *3M Kidnapping*. It's a very hilarious article. The article talked about how a mischievous youth tried to defraud his parents of a huge sum of money. His plan didn't work and later came to bite him in the ass. The article wasn't mainly about the story but about what happens when a mind is idle and greed creeps in. That's all for the review and I would like to know which one is your favorite. You can tell me in the comment section. I hope you enjoyed the articles and the review. I will try to keep up the pace and write better articles this coming week. Till next time.

@Mofif

3M Kidnapping What I am about to tell you guys is a very funny story but also true and thought provoking. While you're laughing at the foolishness of the people who tried to pull something like that off, you are also wondering at the same time how things got to where they are. How things are so bad that people are resorting to all manners of ways to acquire wealth and money that they are even willing to hurt their family. As you all know from my previous articles, I am currently at home due to the ASUU strike. The impasse between the Federal Government and ASUU hasn't been resolved for the past two months. The union seems to be resolute while the government doesn't seem to care. They have a nonchalant attitude towards the issue. Recently the Minister of Education purchased a nomination form for the presidency from his political party for $240,773 . This shows how much they truly care. This particular matter is an article for another day. The youths are still at home with nothing to do. Some have kept their hands busy by getting a job or learning a skill like what I have been doing. Others have not been so fortunate and are stuck at home doing nothing. The saying *' the idle mind is the devil's workshop'* holds substance in the incident that I am about to narrate. So a few weeks after the strike the management of the university told all of us to leave the Halls of residence and go home. Only those on IT's were allowed to stay. By this time most of us had already gone home only a few remained. I don't know what they were waiting for. So a few students stayed back illegal and were still living in school with nothing to do and no tangible reason. I guess this is how they were able to come up with their dubious plan. A boy alongside two of his friends decided to scam his parents of $7,224. The plan was for them to orchestrate a fake kidnapping from the comfort of their hostel. Then they will call the boys parents telling them that their son has been kidnapped and the kidnappers are demanding for that sum of money. The parents will then transfer the money out of fear and just like that, they've made some cool cash with no stress at all. The only problem was that things didn't go according to plan. Rather than the boy's parent paying the money they reported the kidnapping to the DSS (Nigeria's FBI). They traced the boy to the hostel and found out he wasn't kidnapped at all. Everything was a lie. The campus security allegedly responded to the issue by conducting a thorough search of all hostels for any illegal occupant. I don't know how true the story is. It might be a rumor peddled by idle students but it just goes to show what happens when the minds of the youths are not engaged positively. How would the boy and his friends be able to think of such an evil idea if the academic union was not on strike. If the school was in session and he was attending classes, I doubt if he would have the space in his head or the time at all to come up with such a plan. When a person is idle his mind becomes a desirable workshop for the devil and his demons. In Conclusion A solution to this strike needs to be found as soon as possible. The government needs to stop playing table-tennis with the lives of the youths if not incidents like this will keep happening. Things are already bad the way they are so why add fuel to the already raging fire.

Self Development **The act of developing oneself**. Self development is an important part in finding your purpose in life. We all want to know what our aim and sole purpose is in this world and we spend our entire life searching earnestly for it. Some have found their purpose which has given them an headstart in life ahead of everyone while others are still trying to find theirs. It isn't an easy the journey, the road to finding your purpose in life. It requires a lot of perseverance, patience and dedication. There is no need to rush as everything will come in it's own time. I have learnt that there are some things you can't control in life and you shouldn't bother yourself worrying over them. *This life no hard na you dey make am hard.* Self development is essential for anyone to be someone in life. We all need to acquire certain skills and learn new things so as to gain and gather more knowledge which will help us effectively tackle life's obstacles. When you develop yourself, you are indirectly giving yourself an edge over everyone. You are trying to gain something unique that others don't have. That's the main purpose of self development. To create a niche for yourself or your business. It is critical to anything you're doing or plan to do. Most of the successful people in life are successful because they developed themselves. They worked on their talents, skills and crafts and were able to get to where they are today because of that. Let me use Elon Musk as an example. He grew up in South Africa where he worked on himself and built his crafts. He moved to the US where he worked to become the richest man alive. He didn't achieve that over night but it was a step by step process. His big break came when he started Paypal. From there he established Tesla one of the most famous manufacturers of electric cars and SpaceX a privately owned space company who's sole mission is to make space travel more affordable and accessible to anyone regardless of their societal status. Recently he bought the social media company Twitter and he has big plans for it. Like I said earlier self development is essential and we should keep asking ourselves how are we going to go about it. Not a day should go past without you asking yourself what you've done that day that has added to your life no matter how small it may be. It isn't hard just find something that is beneficial to you both financially and mentally, that will make life easier for you and everyone around you. The importance of self development cannot be overstated and that's why I keep saying it over and over again. Like my dad always asks me before I go to bed *"what have you done today that will impact your life now or in the nearest future."* It's been long since I've done this. I would like to appreciate my latest sponsors @Talecharm and @Ayukyukyu2 thank you very much. To my old and faithful sponsors you guys are the best. Thank you for your constant support.

@Mofif

86FB I decided to write this article because of a ponzi scheme that crashed today in my country. I want to talk to about it because I had a close experience with it and almost put my money into the scheme. I was really down during the time and as the saying goes '*desperate times call for desperate measures'.* I had a friend who is one of their agents. Everyday on her status she is always talking about 86FB. Posting about it everyday and encouraging people to join. She used the usual tactics. Using fear and anxiety as a tool to market the scam. She always said that would you let your money stay in the bank rather than investing it so that you can make more money. Little did I know she was advertising a ponzi scheme and trying to get me as her referral. She posted about it everyday on all her social media platforms and even created a WhatsApp group chat for the people that joined under her. She claimed that it was the best platform and that people were already cashing out. Anyone who wasn't into it was sleeping. You can say that she literally carried it on her head like it was her own business. She kept posting screenshots of credit alert on her status and said that it wasn't a ponzi scheme and that it was never going to crash. She then said that even if it was going to crash you better invest now rather than later. Out of curiosity I sent her a dm asking what it was all about. Her explanation wasn't too clear but she said that it was about betting. That once you register on their website and deposit a minimum amount of $8 you will be added to a telegram group where sure odds will be dropped daily. You then go to the website and play the games. According to her the odds are always right. What I didn't understand was how did referral come into the matter if everything was all about betting. The explanation wasn't clear. I told her I was interested and she sent me the link to the website and also her group chat where she will give us updated before we are added to the main group. I visited the website and my suspicion grew the more. The user interface was poor and I was starting to wonder if it was truly genuine. I went to the payment link and my mind was just screaming to me **SCAM SCAM**. Everything just seemed off and I was totally confused. I started asking myself if I am that desperate money. That will I put my money into something I don't understand or I am not that sure of. Am I that greedy? Will I just waste my hard earned money like that? I started to have a rethink and became skeptical about making a deposit into the account I had already created. She was with me through the whole process of registering my account all that remained was for me to make a deposit. Before I changed my mind I had decided to just deposit the minimum amount since I wanted to be cautious and I also wasn't financially buoyant at that time. After registering she kept asking for when I was going to make a payment. I kept stalling until I told her I wasn't interested anymore. She took it rather well and that's where our conversation ended. For once I had a close shave with a ponzi scheme. Businesses like this are very popular here because people are desperate to get rich quick especially the youths. Different ponzi schemes have come with different names such as Racksterli (His day of judgement is coming), MMM and so on but with the same mission, to scam people especially the middle class. I just want to tell people to be watchful and not put their money into any kind of investment scheme. There is something we say in the crypto space DYOR (Do Your Own Research). Most people fail to do this and end up paying dearly for it. Some may lose thousands others may lose millions and in some cases there will be loss of lives by suicide. In short **GO AND LEARN A SKILL THERE IS NO FREE MONEY OUTSIDE.**

To Have Faith Faith is a word commonly found in the Bible particularly in the New testament. It is a word commonly used in Christian circles. Faith can sometimes be substituted for the word hope and even at times it is in the definition. There are different definitions of the word faith but the one I am talking about is the definition of hope or believing that something will happen. Faith can be defined as the hope or believe that something or someone you have been waiting earnestly for will come. At times it is the act of trusting God for your heart desires. To have faith in God is to trust him that he will bring your prayers and needs into fruition. This is slowly turning into a sermon. Lol. Let me break it down. Say you know someone that always comes through for you in your time of need but the person always does it at his appointed time in no rush at all. Now you keep asking the person for a certain request thinking that if you don't get it right there and now your world will end. Regardless of this you don't stop asking the person. Through the past relationships you've had with the person you develop a sense a trust in his ability to turn up for you. Just like Ronaldo fans anytime he scores an hat-trick against a small team *he dey always turn up*. So you have faith in the person to deliver and answer your request. That is what having faith means. Now how can we apply this in life? Life is getting harder day by day and there doesn't seem to be any hope in sight. Basic living essentials are getting more expensive and people are stick between a rock and a hard place. Things are getting worrisome and what I witnessed today just showed me how desperate people are. *I was at the farm today and people came to buy fish. Broodstock African catfish to be precise. We sell it per kg at $6.5. A customer brought someone with him and kept asking for my boss and I told him he wasn't around. He even offered me an handshake which was weird. I didn't know he had his own ulterior motive. I asked him if he knew about the price change and he said no. He came closer to me and told me that he told the person he brought that it was $7.2 I said no problem since he was a middle man. I then told him that the price is no longer $6 but he disagreed saying he must talk to my boss. I didn't say anything and I attended him. When he came to collect his cut I explained to him but he still said no. He talked to my boss and then later settled for his cut at the new price. He made sure never to leave me and the person he brought alone making sure that he did not collect my contact in case of another time.* This story perfectly explains the extent to which people are willing to go in this society and economy for money. The message I am trying to pass across is that we should have faith and hope that things will get better in the future rather than do things we might later regret for money. I know times are hard but that doesn't mean we should throw our values and morals out the window. Let's at least have some dignity and integrity left. I don't know when things will get better but I have faith it will.

@Mofif

Boredom I am so bored. So so bored. I don't know what to do so I decided to spend my time writing this article since I don't really have anything else to do. I hope it makes sense though because I don't have any particular direction in which I am heading to. I have been experiencing writers block lately. Having little or no ideas on what to write about but I always force myself to at least write something no matter how little it may be. Seeing this typewriter reminds me of my junior secondary school days. We offered a subject called Business studies in which one of the things we were going to be taught is the use of a Typewriter. It was going to be a hands on experience and we were going to use it by ourselves with no assistance. It was actually fun and I enjoyed using it most of the time. At times I got really frustrated anytime the machine had a problem. The typewriters we used are pretty old so most of them aren't functioning well again. Most times I got to use the one that were okay, other times I unfortunately ended up with the ones that were in a bad shape. All in all it was an interesting experience. I got to learn about the history of the typewriter. How it revolutionized the writing industry, it's usefulness during the two world war and how it helped in keeping records. It made writing a whole lot easier. No need for the pen and paper again. Even though it is longer in use currently it still serves some purpose. It doesn't depend on electricity like our phones and laptops. It is very portable and can be moved from place to place. It requires low maintenance and it doesn't cost much to fix or get a new one. You can type anywhere. Just get a paper and a carbon ink and you're good to go. Now I don't know what to write again so let's talk about what is going on in the world of football. Bayern Munich won the farmers league again for the 10th season in a row, PSG won the Ligue 1 courtesy of a stunning goal from the GOAT Lionel Messi and Manchester United lost scandalously to Liverpool and Arsenal. What is so funny about the loss to Liverpool is the fact that they lost 9-0 in aggregate. 5-0 first leg and 4-0 second leg. That team is an absolute mess and I don't think hiring a new coach will change anything as long as they have Maguire in their defense. Today's article is rather short as I do not have much to talk about. Nonetheless I hope you guys enjoyed reading and I hope to reply all the comments on my previous articles. I have been off lately.

Investment TV Show So for the past three weeks I have been consistently following a show called Lions Den. It is a show where big men and women from various business sit down and listen to the business ideas and innovations from people in different fields. After listening to their pitches and hearing exactly how much money they want from them in exchange for equity in their business, they decided whether they are going to invest or not. They ask the owner or the person pitching the idea questions about the business. Their profit, net profit, turnover, total revenue, cost price and sales price. They try to compare the numbers the person say to reality. Try and find out how true it is. If the business seems profitable to them they invest. Now the show brings investors from all walks of life. People who are well established in their respective fields. In short men and women who are very loaded. The investors are five in number, two women and three men. Their respective fields are in the oil and gas sector, technology, clothing, finance and investment, real estate. They carry a lot of experience with them and are not to be joked with. They might not invest in your business but will give you knowledge that will change the way you think and operate. The TV show gives you a platform to advertise your business no matter how small it may be. It is a very popular show in it's second season with more seasons to come so this gives any business owner a platform to showcase their goods and services. The show is an excellent idea and God bless the person or people that came up with it. It gives business minded people an opportunity to meet people who can finance their plans and bring their ideas to reality. The show greatly benefits young entrepreneurs as it gives them the opportunity to show the world their ideas, innovations and most importantly their creativity. They also get to meet people who can greatly benefit their business not only in terms of money but in also the amount of knowledge they bring to the table. They are well versed in the business sector and have a lot of wealth to back them up. It is a win win situation for any entrepreneur who is lucky or should I say smart enough to get one of them to invest in his/her business. From the episodes that I have watched I have seen entrepreneurs and SME's owners from tech, agro-tech, Fintech, Food industry, Skincare, agriculture and innovation world. Most of them are youths. This just goes to show that there is a lot of potential in this country. All these people need is the proper funding and the right environment. Nigerians are a set of industrious people and we are not lazy. We are creative with ideas constantly flowing in our heads. All we need is the funding. This show has shown me that the future of this country is in the hands of the younger generation and things can truly get better. It will just take time.

First Year University Experience 3 It has been a very long time since I wrote anything under this title. I started this series four months back and the last time I wrote on it was three months ago. I have been trying to continue the series but I haven't had the time. There have been different reasons preventing me from continuing but today I decided that I should at least write the third episode. I had to read the previous one to know where I stopped which will help me in continuing the series. So here is the third instalment of my First Year University Experience. I remember stoping at where I wrote my first semester examinations so I will continue from there. I didn't write the exam in the best state of mind and I was trusting on God for my result. Hoping that it wouldn't be as bad as I expected because if it was marked according to the level of my preparation I was doomed to fail. I did not prepare well at all and I only started reading at the last minute. I don't even know what came over me I just kept reading and reading till I could read no more. The results did not come out until the second week in the second semester. The courses that we offered in other facilities were released but the only one I offered in my faculty (technology) was not released. We were told that when the session was over that's when we were going to see our results. I was wondering why but what could I possibly do. I wasn't the examiners or school. I guess this is how things are even though it seemed a bit strange to me. I finally saw my result and to tell you that I was happy will be an understatement. I was surprised, shocked, excited and most importantly happy because this is not what I was expecting. I had mostly A's and B's in my courses and just one C. I was on top of the world and glad that I didn't reap the full consequences of my actions. After seeing my result I resolved to take this new semester serious. I was going to focus squarely on my studies and nothing else. No more parties, gyrations and any other social gatherings. They were all distractions and the cause of what happened to me the previous semester. I was determined to make sure that I never made the same mistake again. This new semester came with it's new challenges. We were offering more courses and the academic workload was getting much. We didn't have enough break. Just a week. So we didn't have time to go home and meet our families. I didn't go home even though I wanted too. I was advised by my parents to stay at school and prepare for the second semester. I was told to lock myself up in my room and read all day. They already knew what happened to me in the first semester. Well how won't they know. I was in a very bad place mentally and it was showing in my physical appearance. I didn't bath for days or even brush my teeth. I was a total mess and looked like a mad man in a market square. So they were bound to find out and the only thing I could do was to manage the outcome. I ended up staying at school during the break and read my books ahead. I was going to turn a leaf and change for the better or so I thought. *This is the end of the third episode so watch out for more.*

Male and Female Bestie So I got the idea for this article from a friend of mine @Ellawrites . She wrote an article about why men leave when their advances are rejected by women. She was wondering why they couldn't just stay as friends. She asked the all important question how can you tell a man no and he will still stay in your life as a friend. There is no direct answer to this question as different men have different reactions to rejection. Although most of them will walk out of the lady life not forever but for a long period of time just to get themselves back together. Rejection isn't something you just get over and most women find that difficult to understand. How do you expect a man to recover after you've literally shattered his heart into a million pieces smaller than an atom. The man gave you his all. His mind, spirit, soul and body and you just rejected it expecting him to take it like a man. Men are also human beings who have emotions and can be very fragile at time. This is why the highest suicide rate is among men because they have no one to share their emotions with and just bottle it up. This is why when they open up to you and you reject them it takes a long time for them to process it and get back to the right state of mind if they are able to. If a man says that he likes you he really does unless he is a promiscuous man in that case don't believe a word that he says. He puts all of his emotions out there hoping that you will accept him. This is something men rarely do. So when they don't get the desired response it's kind of difficult for them. I think I have answered your question but there are some exceptions. Some will actually stay in your life under the guise of being your friend or should I say bestie but actually want to be more and so wait around hoping to see an opportunity to enter your heart. I learnt this from the love doctor himself @Oluwa_damilare . He has said this time and time again in his articles. He gets his inspiration from Steve Harvey TV show. He was the one that introduced me to him and I think I am starting to get addicted. He basically said that men always go after what they want and if they can't have it they leave or stick around like an hyena waiting for an opportunity to pounce. In a sense what I am trying to say is that it is very rare for a guy to stay in your life with no ulterior motive. He might be your friend at least for now but something deep within him wants you guys to be more than friends. That is why most male friends leave when a lady gets married. They do this because; Out of respect for her husband. He should be the only man that close to her now that she is married They don't have any chance again. She is married and as such not looking for any relationship again I and some other guys on a group chat engaged in a conversation with her about her article and explained to her how it is almost impossible to stay friends. She listened to our point of view and understood. There is nothing wrong with you for telling him no and for him leaving. That's his choice and you shouldn't feel bad at all. If you don't want him you tell him directly so that he can move on with his life and stop chasing you. If he is still staying in your life as a friend hoping that one day you become more than that tell him No now so that he will stop living in self denial. So that is my 2 cents on the issue. There is so much more to talk about but I will stop here.

Who Should You Be Loyal To While going through my head on what to write today the word Loyalty just popped into my mind. I don't know why but it just stuck. There are different things you can write about on loyalty such as the definition of the word, examples of loyalty, people you should be loyal too and when to know when you are blindly following someone all in the name of being loyal. Today I am going to talk about who you should be loyal to. I am not going to make a choice or decision for you but I'm going to show you both sides of the same world. It is a common saying that dogs are the most loyal animals and loyal to their owners even though I find that hard to believe. Some dog leave you in a split second once they see you're in danger or if they see a female dog. It all depends on how long the dog has known you for and how close the two of you are. I am not denying the fact that some dogs are loyal to death it is just that there are few of them left in Nigeria. Those one that will leave you once they see food. Jokes aside, are dogs truly more loyal than humans? I asked myself where does a person loyalty reside. Is it in the person that provides for them in the form of money and other resources or the person that they have a close relationship with such as their partner, friend or close family member. I had to ask myself this question because people can be very sneaky and their loyalty flies around like an handkerchief and moves like an ant looking for sugar. From personal experience people can't be trusted be especially when they are put in a tight situation. This is when you know how loyal they are to you. Will they stand by your side or betray you in the blink of an eye. I might find it hard to trust people and let them into my life probably because of what I have experienced but that doesn't mean there aren't good people out there. People who will be loyal to you to death if it comes to that. I personally just need to work on myself and my mindset and understand that there are people you can trust and who will be loyal to you. Now back to the question. You would think that it is only normal for you to be loyal to the person that provides and takes care for you. Why will you be disloyal to such a person? Well you might not have a relationship with the person. The person might just be taking care of you just because he/she has something they want in return. There is no emotional attachment in their provision. So that makes someone think that since this person is only doing this because of what they can get in return why should I be loyal. Yes they might be taking care of me but they do not care about me. Do you get what I'm saying? The other one is should you be loyal to the person who loves you or has a relationship with you. My answer is yes. This is the kind of person that deserves your loyalty the most. The person does not only care about financially but also physically, mentally and emotionally. This is the person that cares about your wellbeing and whole being. People like this are rare to find and you should hold them tight. So just be careful about who you are loyal to and watch out for those who say they are loyal to you. They might just be wolves in sheep clothing.

Eggplant So yesterday was a public holiday to celebrate Easter Monday. It wasn't really a holiday for me because I wasn't able to rest. I went to the farm again. We had to plant some plantain suckers and that took almost the entire day. Luckily for us we were able to finish and I think that will be the end. I can say that I am already exhausted from all this farming. It is taking a toll on my body. I am not made for this kind of work. Shout out to all the farmers out there. After farming though my dad took me to a local eatery. We were supposed to go on Sunday but we finished service late. I have a lot to say about the place but I am just going to summarize. It is a very popular supermarket/eatery in my city with countless branches scattered all over the country. They started with the supermarket business but slowly moved into the bakery and beverage industry. Not too long ago they started a small restaurant at every one of their branches. There food is okay but is very expensive for the small quantities that they serve. I am not denying that their food at times has quality but it is astronomically over priced. So yesterday I and my dad went there to celebrate Easter just like everybody. When we got there to say that we were disappointed is to say it mildly. The place was extremely dirty, rowdy, crowdy and noisy. It was full of delinquent youths. Most of them were not properly dressed, drunk or high on something. They came with their fellow friends of questionable characters and some of them even came with their girlfriends, side chick or friends with benefits. The whole place was an eyesore. It showed the current way of life of most of our youths and how pathetic and sad the situation is. I haven't even gone to order yet and things are already this bad. I had to go downstairs to order since that's where they were stationed. After that I had to climb the stairs upstairs since that's where the chairs and tables are. Time to talk about their bad customer service. This branch is greatly understaffed. It's a mystery as to why they don't know this yet. The branch is situated in a high population density area which means a lot of people will come. Also it is a newly opened branch and since people are fascinated by new things or in this case buildings they will flock. My dad even said something that struck me. He said that when a new branch of a supermarket, eatery or any business opens it will experience a very high number of sales in the first year compared to other years because people are attracted to new things. Now I don't know how true that is but his words definitely hold some substance. When I got there it took some time before I was attended to. There were a lot of houseflies there and the attendant used a serviette to cover my food. She then gave me two plastic spoons knowing I had two pieces of beef in my plate. I paid and as I was walking up the stairs I almost fell. My heart skipped a beat. I was put off by the atmosphere but we just had to eat anyways. The youths there were causing a disturbance and an otherwise serene environment was made in-conducive. I wonder why security didn't walk them out but I guess they were paying a lot of money for the games they were playing. What was supposed to be a nice time outside was made to be a torture. The food wasn't even as good as the one that made us go there. I do not regret going there though because I got to eat outside for the first time in a long while. I hope that business doesn't learn the hard way because that is how businesses start to decline. Till next time guys.

Easter It is that time of the year again where Christians all over the world celebrate Easter. For those of us that don't know what Easter is all about, it's about celebrating the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is celebrated in all churches regardless of the denomination. It is the biggest christian celebration after Christmas. As I said earlier it is all about celebrating what Jesus did for all of us believers and unbelievers. He gave himself up for our sake and because of that we are grateful. Now I am not going to go into a sermon today (at least for now). I am just going to talk about the different traditions and ways in which Easter is celebrated around the world. Well here in Nigeria it is all about the food. Infact in any celebration it is all about the food. You have the Jollof rice, fried chicken, turkey, beef and plantain (dodo). Then salad and a cold bottle of your desired beverage. The perfect combination. You might even have desert in the form of cake, ice cream and cookies. It's all about self indulgence. You wine and dine till you can't no more. *It's all about the food baby.* Also most churches celebrate Easter in one unique way. Some might decide to host a special Easter thanksgiving like what was done in my church today. Today's service was longer than usual because of this. Some might also decided to organize a Easter feast where members of the church come under one roof and eat together. Lastly on this day the pastor delivers a special sermon preaching about the reason for the season. The reason why we are all celebrating Easter so that we do not forget thereby trivializing it. Also certain churches might decide to organize a Easter camp or retreat. Most churches do this especially for their youths or teenagers. Like, I think I was the only one among my friends who didn't go for camp. Not because I didn't have one to go to but because I decided not to. I had my reasons and I think they were enough. Easter is also about Easter eggs. We don't observe this tradition in Nigeria so I don't really know much about it. All I know is from the little I watch in Hollywood movies. I think it has to do with gathering colored eggs and a rabbit is involved in someway. I do not know the history behind this and I will probably go and read up on it but it seems fun with the way it is portrayed on TV. Little children gather a certain number of eggs with a particular color and the first person to gather all the eggs win. The eggs are scattered all over an open field or any place in particular and are hidden in places that you can't expect it to be. I think it is a very fun game and it tests a person ability to take note of certain changes in the environment and how observant a person is. I would really love to play this game but I'm a little bit too old for it. During this Easter period we should take time to reflect and understand the reason for the season. **To all my Christian subscribers Happy Easter.**

Banana I could not think of a title so I just decided to name it Banana. I got the idea from yesterday article plantain. I don't know the funny things that are going on in my head making me to think of such weird names. It's kind of scary and hilarious at the same time. My brain is such a weird creation. Speaking of weird my last article kind of surprised me. Barely three hours after publishing it, it had already been visited. Maybe it was because of the one day break I took. Turns out it was all that I needed to jumpstart my account back to life. I earned more than I usually do this time and I hope to get more to. The article didn't have any main topic or lesson, it was just me doing a review of my previous articles. Just like yesterday article, today's article doesn't have any particular direction. I am just going to be writing about notable things or things that caught my attention in the last 48 hours. The first one is the elimination of Barcelona from the Europa league. I didn't write about because I would just be shooting myself when I receive all the trolls and banters in the comment section. There are a lot of things to talk about from that game but I will only take about two things. One, how did so many German fans get into the stadium. I read that there were over 20,000 of them. This definitely didn't feel like home for the Barcelona players and it felt like a final. Secondly that lineup was a total mess. There were a number of players that weren't supposed to start that game. They opened up our defense and cost is some goals. The coach needs to do a total and complete change in that defense. Also in the world of entertainment ASAP Rocky apparently cheated on Rihanna. I guess no one is above breakfast. Breakup is a national cake and everyone must chop from it as they say. You know the interesting thing about all of this? ASAP had always wanted to be in a relationship with Rihanna and when she finally gave him the greenlight he impregnated her and then cheated on her. All of this makes you wonder what's going on in the mind of this man. Why go through all this stress, free yourself from the friendzone and then cheat on her. It doesn't make sense. Well it is still a rumor and nothing is confirmed yet but all of this makes you wonder why male celebrities cheat on their pregnant partners. I guess we will never know. I saw something funny on social media though. Someone said "*how could Rihanna look for a long term relationship with someone whose name is ASAP*". Still in the world of football I am sure most of you would have seen the WWE match between Manchester City and Atletico Madrid. It was a beauty to behold especially for those of us that like violence. Few minutes to the end of the match a fight broke out between both teams that even involved their bench. An Atletico player got a red and a few other players from both sides got a yellow card. The funny thing was that the referee didn't even try and separate them. He was just watching from the sidelines like a spectator and after they were done he dealt with them. Sounds a lot like a Nigerian father. That wasn't all. Once the game they continued the fight in the tunnel and this one was bigger. The police had to get involved before the situation escalated. There was a lot of shouting, shoving and even grabbing of hair. Even the premier European club competition isn't void of match violence. Lastly, Elon musk has offered to buy Twitter and he isn't joking at all. Twitter hasn't responded yet but I heard on the news that they are against sole ownership of the company. I guess we would just have to wait and see. I support Musk bid. Twitter has a lot of problems and I think he can solve it. The app has a lot of bots and these boys have scammed a lot of people. Also the censorship on Twitter is too much. It used to be a place for free speech but it is slowly turning into a weapon for the Left. No wonder leftist are against the idea of him taking over because they know that they won't have their way again. They won't get to censor or delete the tweets of people that they don't like. I hope I have been able to keep you guys up to date.
