This is a simple reminder for you to have a good day. We can't control what happens around us, but we have control over how we frame our experiences and how we react to them. This is simple to understand but extremely hard to master. How can you have a good day when you meet idiots that make you angry the whole day? Having a cup of delicious beverage helps. Meditation helps. Walking in nature and breathing in fresh air helps. Looking out in the ocean and getting lost in thought helps. Watching funny videos online helps. Writing your problems down also helps reduce them from cluttering your brain. Meeting and chatting with friends helps. Everyone is different so what works for me may be different from you. But it is possible to have a good day in spite of bad circumstances and the more you practice for it, the easier it becomes to have control/mastery over your own emotions. If a monk can be happy and fulfilled with life without any material possessions, then why can't you? It takes practice, lots and lots of practice.

What made me happy today is watching dramatic huskies on YouTube and looking at capybara pictures! I also kinda had a stress eating session 😅
