Internet is one of the best gifts for humanity. A person can spend time learning about anything they want to learn, if they wish so. A person can connect with anyone they want to connect, if they both wish so. These things are extremely difficult prior to the Internet. I can buy anything I want and they will magically appear at my door. Food, transport, furniture, consumer goods. It doesn't matter if your country does not produce the goods, you can still get it online. Modern life is such a luxury. Most of us are living lives better than the Kings and Queens of the old ages. And that begs the question. If we are living lives better than the Kings and Queens, why do people feel bad about their lives? In my opinion, it is because people have a tendency to compare themselves to others. We see the best of others while we see the worst of ourselves in us. Everyday I wake up, I thank the Gods, because even with my problems, still my life is a miracle. Everytime I sit in the plane and marvel at the clouds outside the window, it's a miracle. Everytime food magically appears at my door, it's a miracle. Miracles are all around us, sometimes we just need to learn to see them.
