There was a long time when I was struggling with the meaning of life. If we are all going to die, then what's the point of living? Then it struck me. Why do I play video games when I know the game has to end eventually, either when I have to close the console or when I had completed the game successfully. When we play video games, the process of playing the game is what made it enjoyable. The uncertainties and challenges of the game is also the reason why we play video games. If the game has no uncertainties nor challenges, then it gets really boring fast. The video game is fun because we embrace those uncertainties and challenges when we are playing video games. And so, I think life is pretty much the same. Once we embrace the uncertainties and challenges of life, the process of living can become a fun experience, just like playing a video game.

Honestly I have also thought about how similar life is a video game. But I think there's a subtle difference between your first question - the purpose of life - and having fun in uncertainties/challenges of life. The latter is 💯 like that. But for the former, I believe, there is a higher purpose. There's this video where at 5:26 time stamp it touches the subject with a satisfactory answer to most people. I say most people, because the answers are based on Islamic teachings, but I've seen many non-muslims react and agree with these points. Have a look, I'm curious what your opinion would be
