I bought this three kinds of poinsettia flower and I love the yellow one, the color is very unusual here in Japan. Look at this beauty it is Christmas colors right? Im always bought a poinsettia flower every December but they are fade and turn to dry after Christmas.I hope this yellow one will last until next year, This is my first time to see this yellow color and I love the petal its bigger than the other poinsettia. Why this is called Christmas flower or what does mean in Christmas? The shape of the poinsettia flower and leaves are sometimes though as a symbol of star of Bethlehem which lead the wise men to Jesus,The red colored leaves symbolize The blood of Christ, The white leaves represent his purity, The poinsettia is also the National emblem of Madagascar. Maraming poinsettia din d2 sa Baguio sis mostly mga red, bihira ang yellow at pink. Sa malamig na lugar kasi talaga sila tumutubo. And thanks sa "did u know" mo sa last part. Ngayon ko lng nalaman yan, nice info😅

Generally this plant has bright red petals, but I was once amazed when I saw it yellow. And I must say that I like it more!
