Breakfast in Bahia Beach Resort
It's weekend and another family time for us. For 4 weeks straight we spend time to go for 2-3 hours in the beach. This time, we had our Saturday breakfast in one of the Instagramable beaches here in Mati City, the Bahia Beach Resort.
It is just about 10 minute drive from our home. People like this area because it has a beautiful view during sunsets and even in the long day. The leafless mangroves, of which I don't know if dead or not add beauty to the view. Most of beach weddings and prenuptials are done here because of the nice view.
Aside from the beautiful view, what makes it more wonderful to visit is that it has white sand shoreline and calm seas. The kids can just play around and you need not to worry much about them.
On Friday night, we decided to have a breakfast by the sea. We prepared early, just the normal breakfast menu and around 6:30AM we were heading to Bahia Beach Resort. We just paid entrance which Php 50.00 each for adults and free entrance for kids. We then go to the seashore and arrange our things, we just put a table cloth in the sand and put our things on. We then ate our breakfast! Kids were so excited to dip on the water so they ate their breakfast quickly.
After eating, the kids played in the sand and went to the sea to swim. Good thing it was low tide and we were not worried for them playing in the sea. Everytime we go to beaches, I was always hoping to get a chance of gathering seashells if possible. While I was accompanying the kids, I saw a Plicate Conch or "Aninikad" in Bisaya. This beachline is actually a home of those kind of seashells, so I decided to gather seashells. While the kids were taking a bath, I spent time gathering Aninikad, and here's what I gathered after an hour of roaming around.
On the other hand, hubby has a relaxation time in the kiosk by the sea, he set-up a hammock and watched over the kids there.
At around 9:00 A.M. we packed up and the kids really expressed their happiness of our breakfast trip. They saw some sea creatures by the seashore like seashells, sea cucumber, starfishes, crabs and many more. Overall, we enjoyed the morning cool breeze of the sea. We enjoyed the view, we enjoyed the company of each other, we enjoyed our activities.
Spending time with family doesn't need to be expensive, simple breakfast, simple activities that kids and other family members can enjoy is really worth it. Before I end up, let me share to you a photo of my Aninikad Soup we enjoyed during the lunch time. Keep safe everyone!
