Everything new is well forgotten old. Apparently the Disney bosses decided this and sent into production The Return of the Rocketeer, a sequel to the adventure film The Rocketeer, which director Joe Johnston (the author of the original Jumanji) directed in 1991. The film will revolve around a pilot who returns to the States at the end of World War II and finds the rocketpack of a legendary hero from the 1930s, giving him tremendous power in the fight against injustice. British actor David Oyelowo is the producer (and presumably the lead actor), the author of the original film is declared the curator of the project, and the premiere will bypass cinemas and take place immediately on the streaming service Disney+ #movies #disney
