Botilao Ipil San Isidro Punong- Dating Bayan Karst Forest- An almost 300 hectares forest over limestone environment featuring high angles limestone cliffs, unexplored caves and cavities, disappearing creeks and rivers, mixed used coconut groves, habitat of many endemic species of birds, snakes, mammals, insects, exotic plants, etc. As per land classification by the DENR, these areas are considered timberland and own by the National Government. A detailed biodiversity survey, geological survey, hydrology survey, topography survey can be undertaken and later be a basis for declaration as a special biosphere and geopark that can be at par with the famous Masungi Geopark of Baras, Rizal, CALABARZON. photo not owned
