Budva is a town in the municipality of Budva, Montenegro. According to the 2011 census, there were 13,338 inhabitants. Budva is a coastal town on the Adriatic Sea in Montenegro. The area around the city, along the coast, is also known as the Budva Riviera. The Riviera is the center of Montenegrin tourism, and known for its sandy beaches and nightlife. The most famous beach of Budva is Mogren. During 2010, there were 557,000 guests in the Budva municipality with 3.4 million overnight stays, which makes Budva the most popular tourist destination in Montenegro.
