Summer is the warmest time of the year. It comes after spring, and before autumn. On the summer solstice (summer solstice), the day is the longest, and the night is the shortest. The length of the day decreases as time passes after the solstice. The start date of the summer varies depending on the climate, tradition and culture. When summer is in the northern hemisphere, then winter is in the southern, and vice versa. In the northern hemisphere, summer lasts part of June, all of July, August and part of September, and in the southern part of December, all of January, February and part of March
