The first association of carrier pigeon breeders' clubs in Bosnia and Herzegovina dates back to January 19, 1985. when the clubs "Tuzla" from Tuzla, "Bosna" Sarajevo, "Semberija" Bijeljina and "Majevica" from Tuzla founded the first Federation of BiH, which was then a member of the Federation of Yugoslavia. The first president of the association was the late Ivica Pavičić. These beginnings of organizing pigeon fanciers who bred sports postmen in this area are characterized by a small number of members, great diversity and lack of tradition. Only the great enthusiasm and love for carrier pigeons among these pioneers enabled us to have a much better situation in this sport today.
