The Siberian Husky (Russian: Сибирский хаски) is a medium-sized working dog, which belongs to the Spitz family and originates from Eastern Siberia. His fur can be black-white, gray-white or even red-white, while the color of his eyes can be blue, which is characteristic for this breed, but also brown. Their eyes do not have to be the same color. Shedding in Siberian huskies is related to weather conditions, and when it occurs, which happens 2 to 3 times a year, it lasts about 10 days. This close relative of the Alaskan Malamute and Samoyed lives from 12 to 14 years. Height in males is 53-60 cm, and in females 51-56 cm, while weight is 20-27 kg in males and 16-23 kg in females.
