Jen has been diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer that was found in her lower jaw. As osteosarcoma is an aggressive cancer, the treatment is quite aggressive as well. Jen will be having surgery to have her right lower jaw removed and replaced with bone from her lower leg. This is obviously an extensive surgery and she will need to be on breathing tubes and feeding tubes for 2 weeks of recovery in hospital. Funds raised will help lessen the financial impact of lost wages for a number of months as well as gas costs, travel, etc., along with unknown costs of dental treatments and other needed things down the road. Though the goal of this bitcoin fundraiser is modest, it provides a way for anyone who wishes to donate sats to do so.
