City lights are so amazing to see but this is not the light we need spiritually. How the world is lit up by electric lights, so is the darkness in the hearts of some people. Some people are snared by these fake lights. They are obsessed in loving this world and thus, there hearts are darkened by the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life. GOD's commandment is what we need. His law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life. He admonishes us in the following verses. 1 John 2:15-17 (KJV) Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. Good evening my fellow Christians. To GOD be the glory forever and ever. Amen
