How can I get back my reading Habit?

I sincerely need help guys, I forsake & lost a lovely friend and companion and now I am desperately in need her back into my life because of other side attractions, internet and offline/online engagements.

I know you will be wondering who am talking about.

I mean my best friend(BOOK READING HABIT).

Books Reading Culture to me is my best friend and as we all know, readers they say are leaders, what you become in the next 5 years from today will be determine by what you read and I have long lost this habit and culture due to a lot of engagements online and offline.

So guys, I need help right now, I want to go back to reading lots of books.

How to get back this habit is what I don't because I don't know how to share my time with work, uptrennd, other online and offline activities.

Please guys give me your candid advice in the comment section, how do I get back this my beloved friend(Book Reading Habit)?

Its a gradual process and if you're taking It back you should start small. Read small books and don't over stress yourself when you do. Over time true habit will continue

I think you have need to manage time to read the books its to much hard to spend the time on reading but you try it before the sleeping or also read when you travel

I think it'll be a lil bit difficult now but with your mindset you can get back your reading habit, you can read through your phone, just download it as PDF Turn off your Data And read, focus and concentrate cause if you use normal book, your mind will be with the phone and you'll be distracted

You just have to create time for reading alone at least if for a start (1 hour is ok), switch off your phone(s) and any other things that can disturb. Then try to increase the time from time to time

It's not easy going down the lane afresh, but surely if you can practice this,start reading for a short time and also don't read too much like read short books and also read at night in a place where there's no noise at all.

Hi, here are some motivation for you to get back on your reading habit: Move to Books from Movies If you enjoy movies, look for those adapted from a book and then read that book. If possible (I insist) don’t watch movie before you read the book. By a little search in Google, You can find the movies based on books which are already released or will release in near future. Once you are done with that book, try to watch movie adaptation, and you’ll realize what you were missing while watching only movie and not reading book.

Read Literature on Travelling If travelling is your thing, look for books written about or around the next place you are planning to visit. Read those books before, during, and after your trip. It will make the whole travelling experience richer and more satisfying. Often, travel books are about going down the beaten path and it not only enlighten but also encourage us to wander the unknown places.

Read Short Stories If book-length fiction is frightening you, then pick a short story book. You can usually finish them in a single sitting but they can stimulate your appetite for longer book-length fiction works. There are so many wonderful short stories available online. These short stories can leverage your regular reading habit.

Read with friends If you can’t read alone or need company while reading, Join or start a book club. I personally prefer reading alone but I enjoy those odd book discussions with readers in Book clubs. If you can’t find book club nearby you, you can find it online. I love to discuss the books online with the readers from across the world. It fascinates me how differently we all interpret the same book and I always learn something new. Another way is find a friend who likes to read, and ask him (or make him) to read the same book you want to read or read the same book he is reading and then discuss chapter by chapter. This will make you understand and enjoy the book at another level and will cultivate your reading habit.
