In my experience, writing is the easiest skill to generate income.
If you know the English language and if you can write, you can start earning immediately. Paid-to-Post forums, article sites, and blogging platforms offer a lot of opportunities to make money for people who can write. You can also start a blog, publish ebooks and offer writing services.
If you are very good at writing, you might earn very well. However, even when you do not possess great writing skills, you can still earn with your general writing skill. Writing can also help you generate a passive income (for example, blogging and publishing ebooks).

This means more businesses are producing promotional materials in the English language compared to other languages. Selling Freelance wiring service: Offer your writing services on freelance markets like Fiverr, iwriter, Upwork, SEOClerks, People Per Hour, etc. You can even find writing prospects through facebook and linkedIn.
Publish books or ebook: You can self-publish on book publishing platforms like Amazon or Barnes and Nobles. You can earn passive income through royalties. You can even ghostwrite books/ebooks and make a lot of money upfront by selling your copyrights and author’s rights.
Writing and publishing articles: There are a lot of article publishing platforms where you can publish and make money. Some of the popular article publishing platforms are Hive Blog, Publish0x, Hubpages, Read Cash, Medium, Vocal, etc.
