Once there was a discussion on a forum where the thread poster asked a question “Where did you learn about Cryptocurrencies?” Most of the commentators said that they learned about cryptocurrencies through forums.

I started posting on forums in December 2020. I started using cryptocurrency in 2016. Therefore, I wouldn’t say I learned about cryptocurrencies through forums but it is also true that I heard about a lot of cryptocurrencies through forums. For example, I heard about BNB Coin through forums (I was unaware of this coin because I was not using Binance). I first heard about SHIB on forums. Users on forums are so passionate about cryptocurrencies that no sooner the price goes up or down, they start posting on forums. However, most of the posters fail to provide a dept analysis. Most of the posters are only interested in general interest questions.

Why You Should Not Use Your Blog to Spread Fake Information

Blogging has basically three purposes: one, to find and reach the readers for your written work; two, to promote something (product or services); three, to make money.

Whatever is your reason for blogging, you should never do one thing, that is...

Spread fake information

Spreading fake information implies so many things, for instance

Publishing posts on topics that are not true,

Publishing posts without verifying the information through independent sources

Spreading rumors,

Publishing articles on conspiracy theories and claiming the information as the truth, etc.

Spreading of fake information can be intentional as well as unintentional. Some bloggers are in such a hurry to become rich through blogging that they try to spread fake information in order to draw massive traffic. Some bloggers do not do enough research on the topics that they are publishing, therefore, they end up publishing fake information. They are doing this unintentionally; yet, this is also harming their reputation.

When you publish fake information, your blog will be penalized by Google. When this happens, your blog will be blocked from search engines. Being blocked from search engines means people cannot find your blog on Google or other search engines.

Your blog will also be marked spam or scam on social sites where you are posting your blog links.

Blogging Tips: Never Publish Incomplete Information

I have been blogging for two years. As a blogger I not only regularly publish new posts and promote my blog posts, I also reach out to other bloggers, follow their blogs, and read their posts. I see a lot of bloggers committing a lot of mistakes either intentionally or intentionally.

One of the greatest mistakes committed by bloggers is publishing incomplete information.

Publishing incomplete information means not providing enough information on the topic that they are publishing, not offering enough data to back up their claim, not doing an independent fact check to verify the information they are presenting, not doing enough research on the topic, providing half baked information, etc.

Why are they publishing incomplete information?

There might be many reasons, for example,

They are too lazy to do research. If you are serious bout blogging, you need to spend time researching your topic.

They are too lazy to produce a well-written and informative article. If you do not write well, if your article does not contain information, you can’t get readers.

They want to make their post interesting by publishing incomplete information, in order to make the readers wait for the second installment. This is not a good strategy to build traffic. While you may write a sequel, your first article must be complete in its own way.

As in any field of activity, seriousness must be at the forefront. The more false information you spread, the more marginalized you will be by the community. And you're right, information matters most when it comes to publishing information!
