Being rich means utilizing your knowledge and skills at the right thing at the right time. Elon Musk created a lot of things including PayPal. If he had decided to stay with PayPal and focus only on PayPal would he be as rich as he is today? Musk used the money he made by selling PayPal on his other projects and managed to build a business. Do you know who created YouTube? I bet you don’t know their names. They sold Youtube for $1.65 billion 15 years ago. Do you know the true worth of youtube now? Well, the value of youtube is $170 billion. While selling PayPal turned out to be profitable for Musk, the guys who sold youtube lost a chance of becoming very rich. You never know which decision will be right and which decision will be wrong. Even the investors like Warren Buffet seem to have made a lot of investing mistakes, which he has admitted in numerous forums. Being rich is all about creating a product that everyone finds interesting. People have become super-rich with just one book, one movie, one software, one program, and one website.

Money is Not the Root of Evil

Money is not the root of evil, money in fact is the wonderful discovery of mankind. Today, you get to eat food without growing food. If there was no money, how could you get food if you did not grow food? You can eat food because you have money to buy food. You have money because you can earn money by working. If there was no money, how would you be paid, and if you weren't paid how would you get something you wanted, food for example. Do some research and try to find out why says money is evil? It is very likely that a religious leader is someone who says money is the root of all evil. He can say so because he does not work to make money, he receives free money from the common people who work hard to make money. By saying money is evil these people are also encouraging people to donate more. If money is evil why do the religious institutions need "evil." Well, I understand that most heinous crimes are committed because these people want money. Well, in this case, it is not the money that is the culprit, it is the greed of the criminal that is the main culprit.

Can You Buy Happiness With Money

Let me ask one simple question. What do you think is the source of happiness if you don't believe in the Bible or Quran? I don't believe in God, so is there no chance for me to become truly happy? You need money for almost everything. You wouldn't have been born if your parents did not have money (yes, your parents spent a lot of money to give you birth, from money spent on medication to feeding your mother for the sake of the baby's health); you wouldn't have survived if your parents did not have money to feed you in your childhood. You went to the best school and received the best education because your parents could afford your education. Or, if you did not have an opportunity to get a good education, it is because your parents could not afford it. You work hard because you see the prospect of earning money, if money would not be involved, would you have worked as hard as you are working now? Money is a great motivation factor, it motivates us to do good. If you have money, you can donate to poor people and see a smile on their faces.

Do You Have a Desire to Become Rich

Frankly speaking, I do not have a desire to be rich. However, before I am 50 I would like to have a piece of land and a small house in the countryside, with some bank balance for emergency needs. Well, this does not count as being rich, right? To tell you the truth, it is very hard to decide what actually corresponds to becoming rich. For a lot of people being rich means having a big house, big cars, a lot of investments, big bank balance; however, for many people, being rich means a place to live, earning enough to live a comfortable life according to the country's standard, having enough money fr emergency needs, and a loving family is what being rich is all about. It is easy to say what actually means by being very-very rich (Elon Musk is an example), but for normal people, the definition of rich varies. I live in a rented apartment, I don't have a car, I ride a motorcycle. However, I earn enough money to maintain my life. I can even pay for my parents' medical bills when they really need money. I have some emergency funds, I have investments, and I live comfortably.
