How to Create Engaging Ad

You can run an ad campaign for various purposes, for example, building your brand, promoting your products, generating traffic, generating sales, etc. You can also run different types of ads, for example, pay per click, cost per millie, cost per action, etc. You can launch your ad campaign on various platforms, for example, on Facebook, Google Search, Youtube, Mobile Apps, radio, TV, newspapers, etc. You can also create different kinds of ads, for example, text-based ads, image-based ads, video ads, print ads, radio ads, etc. Before you create your ad and before you start running your ad campaign, you will have to know everything about your ad, for instance, your goal (generating sales, building brands, etc.), your target audience (people who will help you reach your goal, or the people who are your actual customers). Your ad design should follow these metrics. Your ad also needs to have a good copy and good graphics. People don't have time to watch 60-second ads or red 100 words paragraphs, you will have to impress your target audience in 10-15 seconds and 10-120 words. You also need a conceptualizer and graphic designer to work on your ad design. A conceptualizer is a person who conceptualizes your ad.

Writing Captions to Generate Leads

Why do you need a caption in the first place, why can't your ad or promotional material be self-explanatory? I understand in some cases, we need a caption, but you should never use captions as ornaments, instead, your caption should be the endemic part of your ad. Let's say your ad shows a green mountain, will it help you if your caption says "green mountain" If your caption does not explain how a green mountain is related to your product, your caption will not help you, your caption should give additional information. For instance, if the mountain is 2000 ft tall, you can use this reference to explain your product, if your product is an eco-friendly product, you can use the green mountin reference to explain your eco-friendly product. Your caption should also be short, the shorter the better. People don't have time to read 40-50 words caption. If you are writing a caption for your social media post, you should only use relevant information or something that will encourage people to want to learn more. Your caption should not use vague information, your caption should not be a clickbait, and your caption should be something that exactly describes your product.

Elements of an Ad

An ad consists of three things, a copy (written words), the product image, and graphical design. In order to create an ad, you need a copywriter who writes the copy for the ad, a conceptualizer who conceptualizes the ad, and a graphic designer, who designs the ad. Sometimes all of these three works can be done by a single individual, but in most cases, an ad is a product of multiple minds. The copy should be very captivating, it should be short, easy to remember, and exactly describe your product. Red Bull's copy reads "Red Bull Gives You Wings" The copy exactly explains what Red Bull is, it tells you Red Bull will give you a lot of energy, a lot of power. The ad design should also be eye-catching, you should captivate the audience's attention at the first glance, and it should be something like love at the first sight. The designer should use graphical elements to enliven the ad. Well, these are the requirements to create print or banner ads, requirements for video are somewhat different. The video ads also need a copy but also require a script. The script should explain what the ad will look like, and then the ads need to be shot.

How to Write Sales Copies

Before you write sales copies, you need to understand two things, one, your target audience, and two, your audience's attention span. If you are a manufacturer you can write sales copies for your retailers as well as customers. Your retailers do not care about your product, they only care about how much commission they will earn by selling products, and whether the product has saleable elements. Therefore the sales copies for your retailers should use lines like "we give 20 percent sales commissions, which is 2 percent higher than x and y brands" or "our product uses eco-friendly packaging, which will be loved by the customers". The sales copies for your customers should use things like "100 percent organic" no animal testing done, and" eco-friendly packaging" etc. because customers care about things like this. Telling your customers that "our product has 60 SPF does not work" but if you tell them that your product will not harm their skin and does not contain a carcinogenic element, it will be a great USP.
