Blog Monetization: Running Affiliate Ads

You can start a blog on any niche and you can still do affiliate marketing. For example, you start a blog in the food, game, health, or travel niche, and with every article, you publish on your blog, you also include the related product in the article. For example, you have a health blog and your article is about the health benefits of turmeric. With this article, you can hand-select turmeric-based products from affiliate companies like amazon. People who liked your article might also buy the affiliate product you shred with your article. Imagine, you have a travel blog nf you publish an article about India, you can either share affiliate links of travel companies, aviation companies, or the products popular in India. You can actually publish an entire blog about affiliate marketing, however, I think publishing a blog on other niches and including affiliate products once in a while can be a better approach for blogging. It does not matter what niche you choose but what actually matters is whether your chosen niche gets a high CPC rate. You will earn more if your chosen niche has a high CPC compared to a low CPC. CPC is a short form of cost per click.

Blog Monetization: Running Adsense Ads

Adsense is Google's advertising network for publishers, if you own a website, you can run Adsense ads and make money from the impression and clicks.

Adsense has some strict guidelines, however, these guidelines are meant to provide adsense ads only to the websites that have high-quality content. If you publish high-quality content, the chances of getting approved are very high. I am saying this based on my experience.

Adsense does not allow you to create a second account. Adsense is the best ad provider for small as well as big website owners, however, not having adsense does not mean it is an end to making money from blogs and websites. There are other ad networks and other methods to make money

According to Adsense terms, you can either create an individual account or a business account, you cannot create both at the same time. If you have an individual account and want to create a business account, you will have to first close your individual account, and then only you can create a business account.

You can earn from adsense but for a lot of people who do not receive a substantial amount of traffic, reaching the $100 minimum threshold on adsense can take months, even over a year. Therefore, a better way is to combine adsense with other ad networks.

Language for Blogging

Before you choose the language for your blog, you will have to see a couple of things, such as: how proficient you are with your chosen language, what is the market size for your chosen language, and what is the earning potential with your chosen language. I blog in English but English is not my first language. While I might not be the best writer in the English language, I find it easier to write in English compared to my language because of the availability of resources and information on the internet. Another reason for choosing English is the market size, with my English blog I can attract US readers as well as the local reader who understands the language. Adsense does not support my local language, therefore, even if I had started a blog in my local language, I could not have made any money from my blog. Blog niche also determines the language of your blog. If you are using universal topics that have a global audience, you will have to choose English but if your blog is about local topics, blogging in the local language can be beneficial. Your target audience also determines the language for your blog.

Becoming Successful With Blogging

I have been blogging for two years, I make money from my blogs, am I a successful blogger? The term "successful blogger" is really hard to describe because for those who don't earn money, making money from their blogs might be considered successful, whereas those who are already earning from blogs, might think of "success" as something that is making them a lot of money. Before you start blogging, you need to make a realistic goal, you need to be clear on what you are trying to achieve from your blogging activities. If your primary intention of blogging is making money, you need to make a realistic target. If you want to make $1000 per month from your blog, that's fine but you also need to consider whether that is a realistic goal or not. Well, making $1000, or even $5000 from your blog is absolutely possible, however, in order to reach that kind of earning target you need tons of traffic, thinking about receiving 50K or even 100k daily traffic. In order to pull that kind of traffic, your content must go viral on social media and your over 50 percent content must rank number one on high traffic keywords.
