I have been asked to make some questions somewhat easier and I will try to accommodate that wish. It doesn't mean that the difficult questions will disappear, just that all of them will not be like that. The obvious problem then is to know what's very difficult and not, since, to some extent, that differs from person to person. However, I will try, even if I will not make anything too simple - after all, these quizzes should be a challenge. If you feel I'm not doing it well, feel free to let me know in the comment section.

Which of the following substances are not B-vitamins?
Pantothenic acid
Nicotinic acid
Ascorbic acid
Pyridoxine
Cholecalciferol
Orotic acid
Melatonin
Riboflavin
Pangamic acid
Salicylic acid
Thiamin
Methionine
Ascorbic acid, Cholecalciferol, Melatonin, Salicylic acid and Methionine are not B-vitamins.
Ascorbic acid is vitamin C: cholecalciferol is a form of vitamin D; melatonin is an hormone, produced in thee pineal gland; salicylic acid is aspirin; and methionine is an amino acid.

Answer to Quiz 51:2
Cleopatra is a famous Egyptian ruler from history. However, she (the one we normally call just Cleopatra) was not the only one in her family (the Ptolemaic family) with that name, and she was definitely not the first. So, if we would be strict, we would also add a number to her name - which number?

It is 36. That is 6 times 6, which indicates influence from dice.

Linus Pauling. In 1954, he received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry - and in 1962, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

It was Lorenzo di Medici (1449-1492), and he was the ruler of Florence. He was also a banker and a great patron of the arts. Michelangelo, da Vinci and Boticelli are examples of artists who worked in Florence in Lorenzo's days.
