I just found a clever attempt to conceal plagiarism. The author had taken paragraphs from different websites and combined them. The OC detector did not discover that. By checking paragraphs one by one in Google, I discovered it.

Nice! The OC detector right now is pretty stupid. We have some improvements to it on the way, but probably not too soon. Too many things to do.

A lot of work to check on a single article. We wonder how you came up with the idea to check paragraph by paragraph on a given article? You have previous suspects on the author or were you simply testing?

  I suspected it. If I compared to how the author wrote in comments, the style and ability to handle the language were simply too good.
