A short story about a boy who really fall inlove with his classmate but ended up in grief His affection for his classmate was written all over the boy's face. He woke up early in the morning to go to school to see his paraluman, his paraluman means all the world to him. Due to intence fascination he wrote hundreds of poems for his beloved. He's been carrying the torch for his paraluman since their early's highschool days. He couldn't keep things to himself any longer so he decided to bare his soul to his bestfriend about his feeling for his dear. but his bestfriend didn't turn a hair because his bestfriend knows that he couldn't pass the standard of the girl, not even close. The girl was the muse of their class and always been nominated for the pageant at the school, the girl became a noturious student because of its charm. Most of his friends advices him to forget his feelings and look for someone's who's in his level, they're just tryin' to protect his heart's but the boy wasn't listenin' and continued pursuing his affection for the girl. He decided to write a Letter and the concept of it is about his affection for the girl. He spent four months writing the letter and time flies so fast , the appointed day has come. He gave the letter secretly but the silly friend of the girl noticed it , she took the letter without hesitation and went to the front and Read the letter loudly , their classmates was surprised by the findings , the class started obstreperous and shouting the word " sagutin Mona Yan" the girl goes to the boy and directly says " Gwapo man ka , pero na ngita kog mas gwapo nimo" the class is in turmoil and their classmates gossiping with their fellow sayin', "that's the stupid thing he have done in his life. so embarrassing!" After hearing those excruciating words from the girl he admired a lot, the girl really put his foot on her mouth by sayin' those painful words, the boy tried to kept a stiff upper lip , but the reaction on the boy's face when he heard those words spoke volumes about the grief inside his heart's. He wish the ground would shallow him up because of the embarrassment. In extreme embarrassment he didn't notice that the tears were slowly dripping on his eyes. What a cruel world! A world wherein looks is more important than sincerity. By the way, the boy in the story was me five years ago. Highskol days, feelin' nostalgic !
