Tips to beat insomnia I have always had trouble sleeping. I have always had to rely on sleeping pills to go to sleep and even then my sleep is interrupted. I have received some useful advice from this book that I am using now to help my sleep and it has beem working without pills!

My brother (he told me to call him that when I spoke to him after the lecture) is a colourful individual to say the least. I really appreciate his insight, humor and wisdom. I learnt so much about sleeping disorder. I think some of the key learnings for me were: 1. I sleep. Even if I feel like I have not slept in days, I have slept. 2. Not sleeping is not the end of the world. I can still function the next day and will get through the day. I might feel like crap, but I will get through it. 3. My trying to sleep and worrying about not sleeping is probably causing a significant amount of my sleep problems. 4. Don't go to bed if you're not sleepy! Longer time in bed does not equate to better/ more sleep. I could go on and on with what I learned. And sleep well.
