Gossip much?

Really, there is no one that I can blame but the ongoing strike that has made me stay at home to witness so much default in human behaviour. I guess I should count it all joy cos this is an opportunity I might never get again.

Alot of things have been baffling to me these past few days and I can't make excuses for people anymore because there are alot of people who aren't defaulted so there is really no excuse.

How does one wake up in the morning and just go sit outside their house and begin to talk about other people. If they were talking about them for good, I wouldn't be livid but the reverse is the case.

It's a pity how things that normal humans should not engage in are the things that give joy to most people. Who In their right minds would enjoy slandering other people behind their backs just for their own personal amusement, certainly not someone normal I must say.

Gossip has become something that is rampant in the world today that no one bothers to count it as a problem anymore because obviously there are now much bigger problem's in the world like theft, misdemeanors of all sort, really the list is endless.

When people engage in activities, most people do it for benefits and profits that come either as a result of their deeds or from the ripple effects. I wonder what gossips really gain from this act of theirs because since I've been born till now, I've not seen anyone get an award or receive a car or house as reward for gossiping.

You'd think that this is enough reason for people to mind their business and channel the energy wasted on gossipping elsewhere but they don't. It's like it's their source of life and without it they'd die.

I'm not even joking when I say that it is a source of life to some people. I say this because just as people get addicted to hard drugs and social media and many other addictive stuffs, there are those who cannot stay a day without their dose of gossip.

What a sad way to live!

Most times we do things because we feel like we have no choice. This is what most people say when a gossip comes to them with juicy info that they go about spreading. The fact that one is a listener and not a spreader doesn't make one less of a gossip.

A gossip who listens and the one who does the talking are both gossips, period!

I say the above because one can never really listen without chipping in a word or two and the moment you acknowledge their info by commenting, it's finished.

I'll end like this, he who know that if what he does would be bad if done in return to him, should stop and change.

Author's Epilogue

I had a very bad taste of FirstClass gossiping today and I was just mad. I really hope that people be wary of the friends they have because some just want to be in your life to take what they know about you outside to the world.

Let's live right and do right.
