Day three; thoughts on my mind🤔

Hmmm...I really don't know what to tag today as. It started with the usual preps for the farm and on getting there I was my usual self, happy and ready for the day's work. After taking care of the chicks in the morning, I went to my usual sitting area to unwind and charge so I could do other things with my phone as the next time I'd be needed would be by 12pm. Unfortunately charging wasn't possible as light never came and when it did it didn't stay for long

It was just close to that time that it struck. My head started banging and I began to feel weaker and weaker and before I could say jack Robinson, I was at my weakest. I couldn't stand nor sit and I definitely could not join them in the egg picking, so I just laid down there on the wooden bench which was as hard as a rock and soon after, I fell asleep.

I was brought back to consciousness by the flies around that wouldn't let me sleep as they were perching on me and disturbing me. Since they wouldn't let me sleep, my mind had to wander off while I way there laying on the bench.

I began to think about how some of my coursemates who have not showed up since the beginning of this our Industrial training were missing out on all the knowledge and experience we were gathering for ourselves.

Now I see why they say many are called but few are chosen. I couldn't help but wonder why a student would abandon their education and begin to chase after other stuffs that are secondary to me. I asked one of them why she was absent most of the time and she couldn't say anything reasonable except that we were being used to work and that she couldn't be a party to it.

Same poeple are the ones who won't show up for class claiming that class is for the unwise people and then they come to the examination hall to either cheat or spy their way through, or better still they just go ahead and bribe a lecturer to get any grade he can afford to give so long it's not an F.

The lengths they are willing to go to get their unmerited success is not only alarming but stupid as well. Why would someone be willing to beg or offer their body just to pass but wouldn't make the same effort to study and attend classes.

All of these things are tiring most times, nobody is disputing this fact but we all should be willing to push and continue because giving up should not be an option.

As I pondered on this, the fact that people do certain things because others are doing it couldn't help but come to mind. A friend of yours skips class and still gets complete attendance record or is not penalized for it dosen't mean you too should do same.

Self control is key!

The shortest route is never the correct one, this is something that I never fail to tell myself.

As a final resolve, I made a promise to myself that I'd never be deceived by a bachelor's degree or any degree for that matter because not all the people who holds such degrees actually qualify to have them!

Author's Epilogue

That sleep I had though short is one of the reasons I'm able to even think about writing this evening cos it revitalized my body and I felt better.

Today is done and tomorrow is another day, stay tuned!

I'm sorry I have not been actively interacting, things here are really stressful and during free times there's usually no light hence phone is down. I will get a hang of it soon and be all over your articles before you know it.
