This fish was known as Borao borao by our locals. Although I'm not sure what to call this fish in English, I'm hoping that everyone, especially my Filipino readers, is already familiar with it. The best menu of this, in my opinion, is what we call "pinangat." It's a semi-sour fish soup, but it requires much less water than fish soup does, and it also contains vegetables, onions, tomatoes, and other sour components. Anyway, this is our viand for lunch. It was bought by my sister for approximately 250 pesos, and it can accommodate 5 family members.
