This poem dedicates to the Baranggay day celebration. It talks about the memories of the Baranggay, also to the people who helped each other to realize the plans of the brgy, for the improvement. I salute for those who are in the positions, the captain and his member officials who always put their efforts to help and realize the important ways to improve the life living of the people. God bless everyone! I hope you like my written poem.

KANAKO, IBALIK, MAHIMO BA?

Tuig-tuig matag Oktobre baynte,

Gisaulog ang atong barangay day;

Barangay Opisyal naningkamot,

Walay usa kanila magmug-ot.

Kitang tanan pulos malipayon,

Panagway masaya, mapahiyumon;

Puno sa kaaghop, kamalaumon,

Bisan sa dughan mo may kaitom.

Busa nagahangyo kining ala-ot,

Ihunong na ang pagpanghimaraot;

Sa tawo diin ikaw napungot,

Kay say uta tabunan ka’g maduot.

Kanhi ikaw, ako, kitang tanan,

Sa kalipay ug kasakit kauban;

Naghangyo ko nga atong balikan,

Kadtong mithing sulundon ug balaan.

Kanako ibalik, mahimo ba?

Ang mga pagsalig mo sa ako-a;

Ang maayong kagawi-an buhata,

Aron sa Diyos mapasaylo ka.

Kanako ibalik, mahimo ba?

Ang kasaypanan ko ayaw pagtagda;

Ayaw na gayud kami linglaha,

Aron sa langit mapasaylo kita.

SA AKIN, IBALIK, MAAARI BA? (TAGALOG)

Taon-taon, tuwing ika-dalawampu ng Oktubre,

Ipinagdiriwang ang atong barangay day;

Nagpupursige ang mga barangay opisyal,

Walang nakasimangot kahit isa sa kanila.

Masaya tayong lahat,

Mukhang masaya, nakangiti;

Puno ng kahinahunan, puno ng pag-asa,

Kahit sa puso mo‟y may kadiliman.

Kaya itong aba ay nakikiusap,

Itigil na ang pagsira;

Sa taong mayroon kang galit,

Dahil sa lupa ay sapilitan kang ibabaon.

Kung saan ikaw, ako, tayong lahat,

Magkakasama sa kasiyahan at sa sakit;

Ako ay nakikiusap na atong balikan,

Ang mithiing mainam at banal.

Sa Akin maaari bang ibalik?

Ang pagtitiwala mo sa akin;

Gawin ang mabuting gawin,

Upang ang Diyos ay patawarin ka.

Sa Akin maaari bang ibalik?

Ang kamalian ko‟y wag isaalang-alang;

Wag na kaming linglangin,

Upang sa langit ay mapapatawad tayo.

BRING BACK TO ME, COULD IT BE? (ENGLISH)

Yearly, on the twentieth of October,

We celebrate the barangay day;

The barangay official was diligent,

No one is frowning.

We were happy,

Happy faces, smiling;

Full of meekness, hopeful,

Even in your heart filled of darkness

So, this unfortunate is pleading,

Stop the harm;

For those people you were furious,

Then you will be buried under the ground forcefully.

Where you, me, all of us,

We’re all together in happiness and in pain;

I’m pleading that we restore,

Those goals those were ideal and holy.

Bring back to me, could it be?

Your trust for me;

Do good deeds,

In order God would forgive you.

Bring back to me, could it be?

Don’t pay attention on my misdeed;

Don’t deceive us anymore,

So that heaven may forgive us
