These days of Semana Santa, we have taken the opportunity to do a little tourism, especially in Burgos (Spain). We have been in several places where we have found something that is happening throughout our country: people and more people, and more people in places that years ago were surely visited, but they did not suffer the overcrowding that of a time this part is taking place. Before, you went to visit some remote place and you could meet people, but it was merely anecdotal: you would pass, say hello, and continue on your way. Well, for a while, that's over. There is no place (no matter how remote it may be) that enjoys the tranquility that it should. Because? Everything has been flooded with "occasional hikers" who in other times were dedicated to other tasks, but since the crisis gave us fire, they have chosen to visit this type of place previously reserved for true hiking enthusiasts. I don't want to be misunderstood, everyone is free to go where they want and how they want, but that of meeting a sea of people, queues to enter a lost path, to see a waterfall, taking very young children ( that by the way, what a fabric as the birth rate has skyrocketed in this country in recent times), dogs (sometimes up to two per family), all of them trying to access complicated places, even with baby carriages ... dragging from the children and dogs through difficult paths, obstructing the passage of the rest of the personnel who walk there ... In addition, it is very easy to distinguish them: if from a distance you see a large group, with colorful and garish clothes, the word "Quechua" everywhere and that they walk very slowly, and finally, you cannot take a photo in which nobody comes out except the reason for the photo (because they are everywhere) CONGRATULATIONS! you have come across the so-called "domingueros de montaña". I see all this very well, but perhaps we should be aware that with such young children, pulling a dog and a baby carriage, wouldn't it be better to visit other more accessible places? Personally, when I go to a place of this type, away from the concrete of the cities, it is not that I pretend to be alone, but if you are in the middle of nature that less than enjoying the silence that it provides you and that we cannot have in our day to day life. . Instead, you only hear children screaming, parents screaming at children, mothers screaming at parents who are screaming at children and children screaming even more, and dogs barking (I imagine they were stressed by so much screaming and thinking about what to do). like they would be lying on their blanket at home), all at the same time, like a symphony in the background that completely eliminates one of the greatest satisfactions that nature provides, or at least it provides me. The only thing I can think of to escape this maelstrom of "domingueros de montaña" is to start preparing physically as if I were going to climb Kilimanjaro and buy the necessary equipment to access areas where they cannot reach, children, dogs, baby carriages and above all, most importantly, unconscious parents who do not know their limitations ... #Travel
