Miracles and wonders.

Most times when we take a look at life in general we realize it is nothing but full of miracles and wonders. The breath we take and how it recycles itself is a miracle itself. Having the opportunity to speak which other animals couldn’t is another wonder itself. How people die and get decayed in the earth's surface and we would never meet each other again is another miracle.

How two genders meet together and give birth to offspring, and the reason why elephants take up to 22 months to give birth to a single calf and a pig would give birth to multiple piglets in just three months. Wonders shall never end.

If we should continue counting the miracles that happen in the world then an epistle won’t be enough to account for them. When we take a look at nature, the heaven itself, and the sky which has no pillar to support it. Scientists said the earth is surrounded by water yet it rotates around its axis and then revolves around the sun to complete its revolution. Yeah, we have the oceans and all the creatures in it. How did they age when they aren’t revolving with the earth?

There is a lot to be discussed when it comes to the topic of miracles. Many have miracles happening in their lives. Some miracles happen out of our imaginations l, some just happen, and some happen that we aren’t even aware of. But the God of miracles and wonder would always remain on his throne making them happen.

There are times when we experience wonders like brutal accidents or fire outbreaks in which no one would ever think there would be a survivor but at the end of the incident, we see them survive.

This happened in my neighborhood some years back around 2015 or so. When one of our classmates was outside her house washing clothes while she was having some conversation with her mum. Then all of a sudden a car jumped over her and hit her against the wall of their house. It crushed her through the wall down to the sitting room. Her mum fainted immediately. And everyone was trying to look for her body under the car. Or maybe the bricks already cover her up.

It was such a sudden attack and an unexpected one. The driver who was trying to learn was still sound and safe apart from some minor injuries. But to everyone’s surprise, they saw her coming out of the room close to the sitting room. She was badly injured but they could see her walking. She was grabbed with support immediately and rushed down to the hospital. It was a miracle to everyone. No one would have expected to even see her walk, but with God so good he preserved her life, and today she is sound and healthy.

There was a day when I was about to come home from school. The journey was a little distant from our school premises down-home. So we journey by bus.

On getting to the bus stop where I was to drop, it started raining so heavily that the driver had to slow down his speed. But when we got to the bus stop I dropped by and there was no presence of rain again. I was surprised.

I took a few steps backward and the floor was flooded with water while it was still raining. I got to the intermediate point where it was raining and the other side wasn’t raining. Then I looked up to the sky to appreciate the almighty for his wonders and miraculous ways of doing things.

God is wonderful. When we feel like we need to see more about miracles and wonders all we need to do is to go out there and explore.
