Valentines Special: Single Edition
Love is truly in the air. Its sense pervades in the atmosphere. But everyone should put in mind that just because it is not Valentines' Day doesn't mean they don't need to show love. In fact, all of us can express it every single day no matter what is our civil status.
For an individual who is still single like me, don't be sad if you do not have someone to have a date with on February 14 because we don't need to have a girlfriend or boyfriend or partner just to celebrate it. Besides, we have our parents, family, and friends so don't worry about it.
The following paragraphs are the things we (as team single) can do on the 14th day of February.
It can be anything you want but to give you an idea, I suggest making it a self-care day. You can go out and treat yourself to some sweets and anything you crave for. You can go to the restaurant by yourself or with your family or friends, or maybe, watch a movie on Netflix or listen to some songs of your interest.
Know that you are loved regardless of your status. Yes, celebrating Valentine's Day with a partner is lovely, but the reality is that it is also happy with being single and being comfortable alone. Again, love yourself and do something you like. You have many choices.
Valentine's Day may be challenging for every single people, especially if you feel like no one loves you. However, this does not imply that you will have to be sad throughout the day. Instead, cheer up and like I said, do something that makes you happy.
Go and play some games or take a journey to a beautiful location or you may also spend time exploring for old memories or seeing some of your old relatives or acquaintances. Because you know, Valentines' day is not limited to those who have partners. You may either go to a restaurant and indulge yourself in some delicious meals that you've been craving, or you can roam about and eat some street food that's just around the corner.
If you have pets, take them with you and have some walk in the park or to the veterinarian for a check-up. Just make sure that Valentine's Day isn't just a day for couples to celebrate with one another. It's simply another day like any other but special for some reasons. Remember, you do not need to have someone on Feb. 14 in order for it to be wonderful. It is not about being bitter. It's more on self-love.
Just like what others say, there is no greater feeling than being satisfied, regardless of whether you are single or in a relationship. Relationships may be a lot of fun if you know how to channel your enthusiasm into your relationship and maintain a balance throughout your work and personal life. But being single can be filled with lots of fun too.
Being single is far better than being in a relationship that is not serious. It will not bring any worth to your life unless you are drawn into it by circumstance. A meaningful and genuine connection between you and the love of your life is essential for long-lasting happiness. We will have our time too. Someone out there is destined for us.
Hope you accept this kindly reminder once again. Put in mind that love should be shown on a daily basis. There is no need to wait for a special day to do it. If you are single and do not have a relationship, do not hurry into finding one. Focus first and foremost on yourself and cultivate self-love.
Nevertheless, if you are single and ready to mingle, who knows you will be able to find the love of your life on 14? Just manifest!
