In a world where every action seem to have always been watched, there are people who often see first the flaws of something or someone before even realizing the goodness of it.
This is what is referred to as reality. There are many different types of people in society. There is a wide range of people who either have a positive attitude and also, there are those with negative attitudes in that environment.
Let's take a closer look at the flaws.
It is a subjective term, which means that it is dependent on the individual's own ideas and opinions, as well as on how we assign meaning to something.
Among the reasons why this happens in society are the following:
Validation
Being inadequate and feeling confined is commonplace in today's world, where filters can be found almost everywhere. At times, it is even difficult to distinguish between what is genuine and what is not because everyone seeks validation, but some invalidate the efforts of others while others do nothing to correct their wrongdoings.
Even those who consider themselves to be above social norms, trends, or whatever they want to call it, are constantly on the lookout for flaws in others in order to feel validated to some extent when they do so, which is why they look for them. It's almost as if they consider it a personal accomplishment to be able to easily dismiss the feelings of others. While it is acceptable to correct someone when they have made a mistake, this does not imply that you are already open to doing so in an excessive manner. Keep in mind that anything in excess is harmful and does not do any good.
Attitude
On the contrary of the prior one, which was concerned with validation, this one is concerned with what you are looking for and the setting you are now in. It is impossible to avoid finding fault with everything when you approach the world as a pessimistic individual.
The opposite of pessimism is optimism, which has a clever way of being it. You can still see the flaws, but you can also turn them around and make them beautiful and distinctive or unique, or whatever you want them to be. This is something that some of us have to learn, not just from bashing other people without even knowing who they really are and the stories behind them.
Key Conclusion:
The act of discovering anything wrong with other individuals that is not related to one's own self-interest might provide a certain amount of consolation. Probably, it may make others think they are better than others and feel better about it. Our ego sometimes is super high where it hurts bad when it is being discouraged. But learn to step back and appreciate it, too, because there is always beauty in everything.

Agreed. The goodness from within first. Do not judge a book by its cover, 'cause we don't really know what lies within from someone we don't even know. ☺️
