Our mind is filled with a universe of thoughts and so with pictures. They could mean a lot and can be interpreted in so many ways. Just one but already willed with countless thoughts. Make it five and it would be fun to describe.
A day filled with fun and other individuals attended a concert and watched their idols on the platform while performing. People were shouting and singing along. You can hear and see how active they are. It's like it is one of the best moments of their life and that what they have spent at the concert is all worth it.
Some are on carnivals. Others are in the park, walking with their dogs. Some are playing instruments and jamming with their friends. Oh, let's not forget the ice cream vendors and those who sell balloons and other stuff in the park. Of course, there are those lovers who really seemed sweet to each other while holding each other's hand.
Some are just sitting while observing. The rest are enjoying the view and thinking of things like this and like that. The sun is up and its scorching heat can somehow be felt, but it's just an ordinary day.
Until one day, something has changed. No, many things have started to change. The news tells the spread of the COVID-19 virus spreads worldwide. At first, some say that it won't reach the country. They did not care about it until individuals begin to feel afraid of the things that are going to happen.
The news that tells the initial spread of the virus in the nation frightens many people. It makes people feel anxiety. Mental health is affected and it varies among individuals. It is not a joke but still, many make jokes about it as if it is not fatal.
Just like that, the new normal was born. Face masks are everywhere. During the early stage, the price is super duper high. Stocks on it and on alcohol and other sanitizers run out really fast. People are panic-buying. Well, you can't blame them because things that came are not a little joke.
A lot of people have lost their jobs. Many got sick and a few did not able to make it. The number of cases each day increases and it makes the situation more alarming. The health sector was greatly affected, especially the front liners who were really heroes. Regardless of how tired they are already, they still do their jobs and give their best to help those in need and take care of us.
However, there are some people who are really hard-headed and do not care about the safety measures being implemented as if they have a shield against the virus. But because of prayers and continuous support from frontliners among others, we are recovering as one. It is not yet over but soon enough, we will see the sun smiling the same way as before. People will no longer have to put face masks and face shields on the streets or any other places, and of course, the normal things we are used to before will be available again.
But let this be a reminder to anyone else. Still follow safety protocols and keep ourselves healthy by eating a healthy balanced diet and having regular exercise even if we are just at home. The Christmas season is here again and the day of Christmas is fast approaching. Let's hope and pray that things will get to normal soon.
