Random Talk to a Stranger

Traveling back to Manila is one of the saddest part of my vacation. Today is the day that I need to go back to city. I'm honestly lonely right now because I don't know when I will be able to go home there again. Maybe after 6months , atear or maybe after 2 years again. Even the internet connection there is so slow that's the reason why I'm so inactive on the past week but I already missed my Mom and my siblings. But I need to return now because I have a school requirements that I also need to passed. Everytime that I feel so alone, I just only think that its for our future and dreams.

Oops, this article is not about my drama in life. Although it's can be also part of it but it's just a bit. Honestly ,this day is so unexpected. I was expecting that we( my brother) will commute through public vehicle but fortunately there's someone who offered us a ride from our province to Manila. It's also a cost saving because we only pay 300 pesos instead of 400-700 fare fee. And the most surprising part is when he talks about his journey as an employee.

Earlier, he told to us that he works in Natasha for almost 22 years which is half of his life. It is actually his first and last job. He actually enjoy staying there because of the benefits he received and also because he already gain a higher position. But on the other side of the story, he missed numerous family events like family gathering, birthdays of his children and love ones and many more. Based on him if you want to be successful in life, you also need to sacrifice your private life. Last year he decided to resign because he wants to put a small business. Now, he owns a T-shirt and Tarpaulin printing shop in our province. And I can feel that he is so happy while saying this to us because he ables to manage his own time because now ,he is the boss.

He suddenly looked at me and asked me if I'm still studying because obviously I do like a high school student. But I said to him that I'm already a 3rd year college and his reaction was so hilarious. I expected that because of my height haha. Everyone don't believe that I'm already a 21 year old kid haha. Then when he already believes on me , he give me an advice. His advices was actually on point and I want it. He said that after I graduate, I should be so persistent to find a job immediately because it's better to work hard while we are younger. He also said that I should not be choosy on jobs because as a fresh graduate, I was supposed to let myself explore different fields and skill because it's beneficial for me on the future. I agree with that because I believe that as a young one, I need to find where myself suit in. I should not limit myself to one skills because on today's world, it is better to have a knowledge on everything that you can have so can easily catch up to the new world.

He also asked me if I have a planned to put a business in the near future. I said yes because I really want to own a business. I want to have my own restaurants and other businesses. He said that he can sense that I can have a brighter future because he can see on my eyes the eagerness that I have to fulfill my dreams. He also said to me and to other passengers that we should not be ashamed on selling products or entering any kinds of jobs. As long as it legal and it can provide to our needs and can give us happiness, we must go for it.

Because of this random talk I had with him, I didn't notice that we are already in Manila. Thanks to him because I suddenly forgot my loneliness. I said my farewell to him and he cheered me by saying " Good luck on your journey future millionaire". Aww I'm so kilig ahha. I hope he has a angelic tongue haha. But I do hope that I can reach what he said on the near future. Hope to see him again and to day thank you for his kind motivation to us.
