Because my fiber optic speed is still in the trial phase in November 2022 which was originally 15mbps but because when entering mid-October 2022 technically there was a problem so I couldn't use the internet at that time, now the speed is being lowered to 5mbps and waiting if the internet is correct - really good then the speed will be returned as before. I've read all posts from 6 days ago, about 6*200+ so there are about 1200 posts and even then it's not enough in 1 day.

In my area there is no iconnet network, and the fees offered by them are still quite expensive and I thought they were using electricity as a transmission medium, but apparently they use fiber optics. Hehehe
It's true that now is the era of fiber optics, iconnet is indeed in the period of network development. There are still many areas that have not been covered by the Iconnet internet network. At least they are ready for PLN poles everywhere, it's just a matter of extending the fiber optic cable. But still looking at the share of the number of potential customers who are likely to join, then the realization of network expansion in that area is pursued. For the price, it is the policy of each provider, and you can choose according to your needs. Likewise for quality, they also provide a different management system. Maybe with these various reasons, we can get a little input for choosing and using internet services. 😉
One of the drawbacks with fiber optics is that if one of the boxes is struck by lightning, the entire internet will go out and most of the equipment will be damaged. Very different from electricity they have a lightning rod of 10000 kilowatts.
Isn't optical fiber made of glass, so it doesn't conduct electricity?🙃
Lightning can travel for tens of kilometers even though it's made of glass.
