Here are the six most powerful earthquakes that have ever occurred in Indonesia: 6. Donggala Earthquake, Palu (2018) It was 7.4 on the Richter scale, followed by a tsunami. 5. Padang Earthquake (2009) Measuring 7.6 on the Richter scale. 4. Yogyakarta Earthquake (2006) It measures 5.9 on the Richter scale. 3. Pangandaran Earthquake (2006) It had a magnitude of 7.7 and generated a tsunami wave as high as 21 meters. 2. Nias Earthquake (2005) Measuring 8.7 on the Richter scale. 1. Aceh Earthquake (2004) Measuring 9.1 on the Richter scale and causing tsunami waves with a height of up to 30 meters.
