I understand that sometimes it’s hard to stay positive, especially when things aren’t going the way you want. But you can’t keep letting negative thoughts convince you that nothing will ever change. You may not be able to control everything happening around you, but you can control how you respond to it. Take things one step at a time, believe in yourself, and give yourself a chance to grow. I visited my sister recently, and after a lovely meal, she surprised me with a milky doughnut for dessert. It looked so tempting, with its soft, golden outside covered in a smooth, creamy milky glaze. The first bite was heavenly—warm, fluffy, slightly sweet, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious.
