Lao Tzu said that we have to deal with the big while it is still small. Sometimes we ignore the small leaks, the tiny screeches, the negligible scratches. Until they become big and noticeable enough to irritate us. Until then we realize that things are now beyond repair, or if still repairable, it will cost us a fortune. Don't ignore small things. Deal with them as soon as possible. It could be: - an irritation to a person, a pet peeve - petty but consistent expenses - tardiness that might become a habit - a sudden discomfort in the body - a small leak in relationships It could go from material, to relational, to financial to personal habits. It could be anything. Beware.
