Mix Emotion: What can you say to Young Farmers?

I feel sad every time I see these kids passing by us. They do not know if their clothes are muddy, if many see them, they do not make the viewer feel that they are tired because every time they look at you they smile at you as if they are just playing.

I am amazed at their diligence but sadly because at their young age they are already experiencing that. At that young age, they should just play, enjoy childhood, have no problems, and just have fun. But we cannot blame them for doing so because if they do not, they will starve to death.

They were born poor. Grow up on the farm. Sometimes even before the sun rises, they walk to the farm and take advantage of the time before the sun goes down.

But usually, when the sun is up, they are still exposed to the farm, bathed in sweat, and thirsty. They are buffaloes but they still have less to spend on a daily basis. At an early age, they experienced extreme fatigue. Tired as if there was no replacement.

I can say that it is not a joke to farm - to bend all day, to stretch one's bones, to rely on the rain while the pockets of water are drying up (expensive crude oil), while there is no more money to pay because the debt has already been paid off, at the hospital a family member and school fell ill; their planter of capitalists; only those at the top can afford it because of their ability to control the price of agricultural products; to be a mirror of diligence, but ultimately still a reflection of poverty.

But many have been successful in life even though their life back then was from a farming family. If they make an inspiration in their lives, the hardships they have experienced, one day nothing will be impossible and they will also be a success as a professional that many will admire.

We have pity on such children but let us not judge them first because we do not know what they are experiencing every day inside their house, which is difficult for them. No one wants their life to be like that but they were born because that is how their parents live. We do not know that they will be successful one day.

So, you are lucky if you did not experience it when you were young.

Who experienced this lifestyle when they were young? Share your experience in the comment section.

Do not be ashamed but let everyone know that this is "how you lived then and I am now".

Thank youπŸ’žπŸ’ž!

Proud to say that i was raised partly as a farmer. Land is the heart and soul of our family. Our advantage is having a land we can toil. Every weekend we focus on our plants, our crops. There were many unfortunate farmers who tended to other's farms and were almost paid nothing. But i think time has changed, farmers are and owners are both coming into terms that one cannot live without the other. Our country needs to drive more projects involving our agriculture and our farmers.

I don't experience being one. But every time I visit my grandfather town back then, I experience the life that they have. Yes, the life there is poor but it is also enjoyable, never been boring. Unlike now, that we are so dependent to the technology. Life there is far from modernisation. We enjoy waking up early in the morning just to walk 2-3 hours. While my cousins doing there jobs in the farm. We are busy climbing to pick some fruits. Poor but full of life. Hard but full of hope. 😊

Farming is a good job and if you do it in a successful way you can afford tools and there's no longer the need to bend down the whole day.

I am not against hard work no matter if it is farming or in a factory. It's part of life and everything you learn at a young age you will never forget. It will make life easier than the life of those spoiled children I see complaining about how bored they are, why they cannot have the latest gadgets and brand shoes and clothes.

With us, I see society changes. More people start farming and children always help if the parents have a business of their own.

Children should play? Most children don't play or only for a few years. Girls play even way less than boys they are always forced to give a hand, we are helpful, attentive, etc.

If you work you can be proud of yourself. You achieve something. If you beg and steal there's nothing to be proud off. You can study for many years where I live but many of those people are jobless, unwanted because they have no skills, never worked. My country is in high need for people willing to work with their hands. Those salaries are raising fast. πŸ‘

I've been there, hehehe. At my young age I tried to use that animal to plow at our cornfields and its not easy though, but you never felt tired if that were your daily routines in life. You don't even complain if you were energetic enough to acquire all hardships you've been facing of so that you may achieve something. Coz you don't have an idea if that will be temporary lifestyle, or forever if there will be no ambition. But some had lot of ambitions , they are striving inorder to overcome all poverty in life. They will make it their stepping stone to move forward and inorder to sustain their daily needs they will grab that work to earn a little bit amount of money. And I'M ONE of them before 😊.
