3 loads of laundry are drying in the Sun Are you like me?? See the sun and get the urge to wash everything??! Yeahhh I know it's crazy, but I love to have everything clean and smelling fresh πŸ₯° My son's Pedro traditional Cloths are drying in the sun, after a big party last Friday with lots of "beer baths" πŸ™„πŸ™ˆ But one thing I can NEVER EVER wash!!!!!! It's totally forbidden and my kids would "kill" me if I did: their university cape/ Cloak In Portugal there's a big tradition about University Custume. It is said that J. J. Rowlings got her idea for Harry Potter books in Portugal The costume must be earned, there's a lot of traditional formalities to earned the right to use it. And the Cloak is very important, even the way it's folded is meaningful, you know the statute of the students simply by looking at the way he uses the Cloak Last Friday my son Pedro attended one of the most important ceremony, the ones that allows him to wear the Cloak as a "Doctor". All these formalities make university very special, life changing and meaningful In the first photo my son Pedro last Friday before going to the ceremony The second my eldest son AndrΓ©, the one holding the Cloak, with some of his friends. They became family, all of those in the photo gather here at least once a year in my son's birthday There's stories of poor mother's washing their kids Cloak and how mad kids get because the Cloak must NEVER be washed. Each beer stain, the awful smell, each tearing.. counts the university history... Yeahhhh... Crazy kids πŸ€£πŸ˜€πŸ™ˆ
