My mom's 71 anniversary and the first time we had a family gathering since the pandemic She got her Covid shot last week, very timely, this is important, to be with the ppl we love Even more important, she's finally free from 37 y marriage with a violent man that treated her like garbage We, me and my sisters, tried to make him leave, but many many times he would apologize after the alcohol wares off, and she kept forgiving, until the day we had to call the police It's been 15 months now that she's FREE, no stress, no constant fear And, unlike most woman think, she doesn't him, she's happy now Now she says: how did I allowed this to continue for so long??
