I'm sad, mad, frustrated 😠I leave a big part of my backyard for the wild ducks and coquichos ( lil chicken) 1 month ago a female duck hatched 12 duckings. They've been rumming around, free to go anywhere, with the pond (a big bucket of water on the ground) all for themselves Today another female duck hatched more duckings. As soon as one of them went outside just a few centimeters, the mother of the eldest ducklings attacked him and killed him 😠I was just there, but it happened so fast, I couldn't save him ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ Now my husband and I built a fence to keep them apart because the chances are the older mom will try to kill all children from the other They have so much space, water in several places, plenty of food... Why did this 🤬 mother had to kill the baby???!!!! I know, it's instinct, part of Nature, she wants everything to her own children... But they could share and be perfectly satisfied Now the mother with the eldest ducklings lost their pond previledges It's so frustrating 🤬ðŸ˜

Even an innocent one killed, poor duck he lost his freedom to enjoy the life.
awww! so sad for the ducklings. I guess when they have their own babies they tend to become territorial.
Greed comes in all shapes n sizes she felt her kids will have more kids and more kids she felt her family was in danger and would starve of another populated here what if those kids kill mine . 😔 We can't blame the animal even wise people do this if only we could understand that we are one
