wow, mom where are you cooking in this iron cast, not inside the kitchen , or? The Spanish ones will do that on the fireplace or in a wood stove in the kitchen (the old houses originally all have one, some new ones remembering now and do it the same way). At least that´s also a good way to have heat in the house, whilst most of the old houses don´t have any heating inside ;)
