I usually only talk about the Fun and laughter... but darkness, pain and death are part of life too The lil villa my first born son chose to live in, Penela, is taking a big hit from the Covid virus, many infected, many deaths... We were there 2 weeks ago to help him with some renovation. After lunch we heard an ambulance, just down the street, 2/3 houses below. It was a yellow ambulance, the ones they send to urgent cases, with doctors and nurses... then another arrived... and then a special car equipped with the life support machines... Soon they left and the police arrived...and them the mortuary car got there too... In a matter of 2 hours a person fought for life, many tried to help... and they all lost the battle Penela and many towns are now ghost towns cz they lived mainly from tourists and now there's none At night everything is dark now. My daughter in law sent me some photos of the Castle lightened at night, before all this virus broke our lifes And yes, I wear a mask all the time I was there, except to take a photo or inside home. My mom was with us, she survived many surgeries and a pulmonary embolism, I can never bring that damn virus to her Stay save out there All I want for Christmas IS YOU !!!!!! Everyone safe and healthy 🙏❤️
