I’m sorry to hear that these pests are destroying your plants. But in the province that I grew up in, people actually collect these insects and sell them. We cook them and eat them as an exotic food. I’ve never been a big fan of them but apparently my grandfather cooks them really well and my grandmother loves them! They’re actually quite rare and expensive when you buy them from the market.
